I guess? You can buy it on VCD or DVD on Ebay.

Riding the bullet

It wasn't bad. Of course it was edited last night so it wasn't the best and very and very annoying but its cool.

I loved David arguette in it. I think he did an awesome job.
Overall it was pretty good.

Right - last time I did any Evil Dead research it was still unavailable.

Angra 01-24-2005 02:49 PM

Iīve just finished watching "Shikoku". A baaaaad japanese horror movie. For a japanese movie i guess itīs okay. But for a japanese HORROR movie a can only quote the guy commenting it on IMDB:

"Where is the horror???"

Huh?? When was that? 1995?

EXTR3MIST 01-24-2005 03:14 PM

No, only a few years ago.

Weird?

Sounds like me trying to get "Reanimator" on dvd. Also nearly impossible.

EXTR3MIST 01-24-2005 03:35 PM

Within the Woods has not been officially released - when the Book of the Dead special edition of Evil Dead was compiled in 2002, last minute legal wranglings prevented the producers from including it on the disc.

Your copy must be a bootleg, probably via the internet.

Watched Cellular Saturday night, didn't think much of it.

I bought House of Sand and Fog a while back, and finally remembered to watch it yesterday. I actually cried the whole last half hour of it:( , but a great movie in my opinon. A bit fucked up, but the great ones usually are.

The_Return 01-24-2005 05:45 PM

Just watched King Arthur. That was a pretty good movie, I enjoyed it start to finish.

"There is no worse death than the loss of hope"

Static 01-24-2005 05:46 PM

Audition. It didn't live up to the hype in my oppinion. I'm not a very sophisticated horror fan, I'll always take the slasher in the woods or the mindless zombie over the pshyological stuff anytime.

Loaded with great smoky atmosphere, that one - some smashing gore (ciao again, Mr Morghen!) too.

Try and make sense of the final frames, I dare you.

The Hours - Moving, wonderful locations and acting, and a great score by Philip Glass, but sometimes confusing.

Angra 01-27-2005 01:39 PM

"Seeds of Chucky"

Had some funny lines along the way, plus some gory scenes like the one with the paparazzi who gets acid in his face. Very well made.
One thing that annoyed me though, was the young hermafrodite doll with the irritating british accent. Sounded like somone from a childrens movie.... Grrrrrrrrr

But all in all an ok movie.

That's it.
NASTY sequence that, and that it comes from nowhere adds to the impact. Though it's given away now for those who have not seen it!
Oh well..........:p

Really? Surprising as this is pretty universally liked.
Not a great fan myself, but it has some great shock moments and a nicely cruel plot.

And that guy we mentioned sure goes through some MAJOR shit!

Once one of the fabled UK Video Nasties.
