DP McCoy 04-09-2007 06:09 AM

Okay...

The total bodycount for this movie is 88.

David Fincher was originally attached to this movie as Director, however he chose to persue other projects.

LL Cool J was considered for the lead role in this movie.

Guess away!

_____V_____ 04-09-2007 09:43 PM

I was surprised by the body count, but when i thought about it ,it didn't seem so surprising after all;)

The British Director of this movie is also a skilled sculptor and musician.
(I'm trying to make this tough cos everybody seems to guess mine straight away:p )

_____V_____ 04-12-2007 08:15 AM

_____V_____ 04-17-2007 03:42 AM

Ok since its my turn to post 3 clues, here we go.......

- This movie was destined to spawn a sequel whose title resembled the original, but after the script was written, it never got made.

- Keenan Wynn and John Carradine were both originally slotted to play a key character of this movie, but couldnt make it into the final casting.

- The executive producer of this movie was originally slated to direct it, but he was involved with a big action movie at that time so he passed it to someone else.

More clues when you ask for em...guess the movie?

_____V_____ 04-19-2007 08:59 AM

Wild guess but nope.

Btw, welcome back, renob aka Dominion. (and dont fill this thread with your replies or protests of denial, please)

Another guess...

DP McCoy 04-21-2007 04:36 AM

um......another clue?I havn't the foggiest:confused:

_____V_____ 04-21-2007 09:09 AM

- The names of 2 brother-characters in this movie are a reference to a famous writer of horror fiction.

Thanks V,okay here goes....

Based on a Novel.

John Lithgow,Mandy Patinkin and Brian Dennehy were considered for one of the main roles.

David Lynch was originally to direct this movie but he eventually left.

Guess away!

Geddy 04-22-2007 08:43 AM

Manhunter.

DP McCoy 04-22-2007 08:45 AM

DAMMIT!I knew I should've made it harder!

Well done though:)

Your turn Geddy.

Geddy 04-22-2007 08:48 AM

Someone else can do mine for me, I'm no good at games like these.

_____V_____ 04-22-2007 08:51 AM

I didnt even get a chance to look at the clues...:p

Cmon Geddy. Give it a shot. Look for a movie's trivia from IMDB or wikipedia, and post 3 clues. You are gonna love it.

Geddy 04-22-2007 08:52 AM

Alright I'll give it a shot, I'll post it up in a couple minutes.

Geddy 04-22-2007 08:56 AM

-The film was unavailable for decades because its rights (together with four other pictures of the same period) were bought back by the director and left as part of his legacy to his daughter.

-The entire picture was shot on one set, which required months of planning and construction.

-At the time the set was the largest indoor set built at Paramount Studios.

_____V_____ 04-22-2007 09:02 AM

hmm...The Rocky Horror Picture Show?

Geddy 04-22-2007 09:03 AM

Nope......

Geddy 04-22-2007 10:23 AM

Here's another clue.

One thousand arc lights were used to simulate sunlight. Thanks to extensive pre-lighting of the set, the crew could make the changeover from day to night in under forty-five minutes.

_____V_____ 04-23-2007 01:22 AM

That nails it!!

Its Hitchcock's Rear Window.

:D

Geddy 04-23-2007 01:47 AM

Yep, your turn V.

_____V_____ 04-23-2007 09:50 PM

Thanks bro.

Aight here we go -

- The license plate of the vehicle of the husband-wife duo in this movie reads "UZI 4U".

- The writer of this movie said that he got the idea while he was working for the US Navy in the California desert.

- The original ending of this movie was much different, and is available in the documentary on the DVD version of this movie.

More clues when you ask for em...guess the movie?

Aeacus 04-23-2007 10:12 PM
