Seriously, I think "9" (first trailer posted above) looks epic...two of my favourite directors, two unique visionaries (aside from the fuckup that was "wanted"), it's going to be one of the biggest animated films of '09. I'm actually really wanting to go to the cinema for this one.

Quite frankly, I was pretty psyched when I initially heard that there was going to be a Coraline animated adaptation (it's a delightfully dark Neil Gaimon novella), but the ad makes it look more like a childish romp than the macabre journey it should be (or maybe I'm just picky).

Regardless, 9 looks better.
