David Chronenberg's remake of the Vincent Price classic, relies more on the gross-out effects and overall dour tone, but in the process actually makes a more effective picture. No unintentional hilarity ("help me! help me!") to be found here.

Very informative, very engrossing documentary on the rise of the punk music scene in New York, LA, and England. Shows interviews from various bandmates (a lot of stuff from Henry Rollins), some obscure clips from concerts, and gives a good history of how the 'punk' scene came about, and the various bands and styles that came after.

I'm not voting on favs, I'm voting for what I think the better movie is, otherwise I'd have voted for it.

I think Decline of Western Civilization is the better punk documentary.

I love punk music and culture... but it's The Fly!
