Wow...this MUST be one of the BIGGEST comebacks in the history of tournaments...
Ladies and Gentlemen, From trailing 6-1 after the initial votes, and making a really strong comeback to beat Jamie Lee Curtis by a margin of 10 votes to 8... The winner, and the hailed QUEEN OF THE HORROR STARS... BETTE DAVIS http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p...ette_davis.jpg This has been a truly remarkable tournament with quite a few BIG upsets and which shows that true talent and quality actors are never gone unnoticed in the annals of history. All hail and bow to Boris and Bette...you both rule the Horror genre long after you are gone from the scene. A big thank you to each and every member who participated and cast their vote to make this tournament a highly successful one. God, even for women back then she was beautiful. Not saying that women back then are ugly, its just the style that they had I don't like. I like the outcome of the voting, even if Bruce didn't make it.... |
