The Seventh Victim (1943)

A superb character study and a terrifying glance into the subkect of temptation. Not Lewton's finest by any means, but certainly up there.

The Dark - Great acting, beautiful scenery and cinematography, great idea, slightly weak script, and the ending...arggh! If you watch it, just pretend the last minute doesn't exist and you'll be happier in the long run. Reminded me of Silent Hill. Totally different film, but the mother rescuer, the dark/light worlds, and religious psychos all touched the other.

watched the sequel of that last week. it used to scare me senseless. i have to tell you, when the baddie turned into a demon and his face melted at the end the tears were running down my face. budget issues! on topic, watched demon seed the other night. it was okay, but i prefer the simpsons version

If we're speaking of Amityville II: The Possesion, I find the flick terrifying, and horribly underrated.
