I agree, it made me laugh a lot...but the ending was kind of "gay".

I Saw quite a few movies with my lil bro last night and today....
The Chronicles of Narnia :it was pretty awesome, they did a good job with it.
Shark Tale, Robots, and Big Fish for about the 30th time each. After he left I watched Kalifornia (dug up some of my old VHS's, I really need to get that one on dvd) and High Tension which I thought was ok at most...very gory, disturbing at times, but they just didn't do it right.

Beyond the Darkness (AKA Buio Omega.) Strange and unsettling necrophilia/serial killer flick. The sleeve from Netflix claims that it is the most extreme of Joe D'Amato's films, but there wasn't nearly as much gore and violence as I'd been led to believe. Not the best thing I've seen, but not bad. Overall: 6/10.

Snatch

This movie basically kicks ass from start to finish. Awesome acting, cool gritty storyline, some creative direction, and just an all around cool movie. The heavy British accents (Especially of the Pikers) can be a little difficult to understand, but you can generally get the point of the scene.

For Halloween, I rented a cabin in the woods out in the darkest woods of Vermont. Went on a horror flick binge for three days. Dracula, Halloween, The Changeling (a must see), Magic, The Exorcist, The Amityville Horror, The Blair Witch Project and the Sixth Sense. I was in a morbid mood until mid-November. Check out my website.

"Beyond The Darkness" AKA "Buried Alive" was quite decent for the low budget movie it was.

Saw "House Of Wax" yesterday. Not bad, kinda slow till the middle and it picked up. Could've used a little more gore though. And Kudos for the Paris-Hilton-pipe-in-the-head scene. :)

"The Forgotten"--- how lame was that movie? Cool effects like the people and buildings stripped into the air, but you don't even see or hear a good explanation of what the creatures are that are causing 'the experiments' on people.

The Descent
8 out of 10...hell maybe 8.5

It was refreshing to see a good "balls to the wall" horror movie that didn't pull any punches.Didn't skimp on the gore either.
Plus the fact that the cast wasn't to hard on the eyes was a bonus.:)

Skeleton key..6/10 ...in a strange way it reminded me of "Misery"

Harry potter and the Goblet of Fire

Second best 'Potter' film...next to 'Azkaban'.

But very good, 9/10

House on Haunted Hill Remake

This was a helluva lot better than I expected! I enjoyed the "boo" scares a lot (didn't scare me, of course, but they did sound great in surround sound), the acting was great (except for Chris Kattan), loved the house itself (though the outside of it looked like a factory than a house), and some cool deaths (though they weren't shown as much as I would've liked them to be).

I'll give it 4 stars out of 5.

As far as comic relief characters go, I thought Kattan was pretty good, myself.

"Out of Scotch, thanks to you, Ass!"

"God, I'd love to get laid before I die."

Yuk yuk yuk.

Rush was great, they couldnt have got anyone better to play that part other than Price himself.

The Amityville Horror remake

I was expecting nothing from this film because all my friends said it sucked and many ppl here said it sucked.

I put this movie on last night, everyone else was asleep and it scared the living bejeezus outta me.I have to start rememebering that possession films are not for me.
4 out of 5 stars

The Bad News Bears Remake

This wasn't too bad of a comedy. I haven't seen the original Bad News Bears, so I didn't have anything to judge this against except itself. I'll admit that the movie did get very repetitive, and I wish they would've used Greg Kinnear a little bit more. But still, a good comedy if you have some time on your hands.

3 out of 5 stars.

The Island

This movie was pure shit! The acting was bad (except for Scarlett Johansson and Steve Busceimi), the action was "been there, done that", dumbest characters ever written, and I hated the whole "futuristic" shit! It sucked monkeyballs!

Suspiria
Dead Birds
and Serpent and the Rainbow

Dead Birds surprised me, I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. As for the other two I've seen them before and they were just as great this time around.

I watched High Tension again just to see if MAYBE it was better than I thought at first.....no luck.

Valiant:
Eh, it was okay. The first 30 minutes were good, but then the film started to drag. It delivered some laughs here and there, though I still don't see how it earned a G rating.
2 and a half stars out of 5

The 40-Year-Old Virgin:
I already seen this movie when it was out in theaters and laughed my ass off! I rented it just to see how the UNRATED version (which was 17 minutes longer), and I laughed a little bit harder. More language and more nudity made it even more rewatchable. I loved it!

that's understable, but Franco himself adding hardcore footage (to the German dubbed version) with characters who are completely different isn't.

i don't know...it just doesn't seem like him or his style at all.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original)

I've seen this film more than probably any other movie out there, but I think it gets better every time. A true masterpiece from start to finish and one of my favorite horror films of all time. (If not #1, it's in the top 3 for sure.)

A+

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (remake)

Not a bad interpretation at all, but still not a remake that needed to be done. There are several things I prefer in the original over this one, however the addition of the sheriff (R. Lee Ermey) and the brutal scene with that guy trying to get himself off the icehook were both welcome additions.

B+

The Dukes of Hazzard

If I could go to the studio and demand the time I spent watching this piece of shit back, I would. I enjoyed Burt Reynolds performance, but other than that there really wasn't even anything remotely entertaining about this film and that's somewhat of a shock because I usually find Sean William Scott (Stifler) very funny. The only good thing about this movie (other than Burt Reynolds) was that they kept Jessica Simpson's lines as minimal as possible, but in all honesty, I don't think her crappy acting could have made this any worse.

Drillbit/Bad Karma- Two independent films I got in a box full of movies on eBay. Not bad though for an extremely small budget.
