Not only that, but, for me, I'm having a hard time following it. Maybe I have "old brain", I don't know. But, I'm trying to watch the entire show. I'm up to episode 7, I think. I'll probably finish it this weekend, and then continue Carnivale. Such a shame this show was cancelled, I really dig it.

I've yet to watch that. I'll have to check it out

I'm almost done with it. It just keeps getting better and better.

Carnivale was indeed a cool show, too bad it got cancelled.

Got caught up with The Following and trying to do the same with Vikings.

Caught the web episode deal for episode 4 of Hannibal too. Hoping the full version will be leaked over the next couple of days when it screens in the UK, India or Australia.

I've managed to get, I think, 4 episodes behind on The Following and don't seem to be in a hurry to catch up. Hannibal and Bates Motel seem to have replaced it and Grimm, although I'm sure I'll catch up on both at some point.

Really itching to check out Hemlock Grove.

Game of Thrones

Vikings Finale: Im really tired of these nothing finales. Sure it set up a lot for next season but nothing really happened in the episode.

The Following Finale: It was a good episode but a disappointing finale. The battle between Ryan and Joe was anticlimactic and the cliffhanger at the end was predictable. Joe really got uninteresting as the show went on. He went from charismatic psychopath to lovesick poet

So now, I can say that I have.

Been watching "The Big Bang Theory", first season...I still don't get how this is widely regarded as one of the best comedy shows right now...and while I find it more watchable than I do Chuck Lorre's "other" show that I cannot stand more than about 5 minutes of, I'm still not completely sold.

At this moment it's more a background/time killer show. I watch it while I'm doing other shit.
It's ok, I'll give it that.
The chick has a nice set.
I find the things said about Sheldon finnier than anything he comes out with.
Indian dude is that far my "favourite" character, when he has dialogue.
Jewish guy constantly reminds me of "Artie Ziff".

It just feels...I dunno, a bit "one trick"?
I have yet to see any changes whatsoever, most episodes just have a very predictable formula.
Laugh track is annoying.

At this point I'm finished with season 1...I will probably see more in future but I have to say I have no desperate inclination to follow up any time soon.

hammerfan 05-06-2013 07:39 AM

I'm almost done with "Carnivale", and I'm sad about that fact. I have one more disc and I'm finished.

I don't understand why this show was cancelled. I've enjoyed it, it's kept my interest, I don't want it to end. *sigh*

Started watching Renegade again too. Used to dig it when I was younger so thought I'd give it a spin. Love how it's a low budget 80s action movie henchman reunion most episodes haha.

At least it got to finish it's seasons. Sick of stuff getting cancelled lately mid season

It was pretty cheesy but I was really enjoying Cult till it got yanked off the air.

I was enjoying Zero Hour when it was cancelled. Heck, they only gave it, what, 3 episodes? Nowhere near enough time to know if you're going to have viewers. Yes, I was enjoying Cult, too.

Finished Carnivale last night. Incredible series. A part of me wishes I hadn't started watching it, because now I have questions that will never be answered. LOL

I wish networks would at least put the cancelled shows online. Cult wasn't the best show. The premise was ok but very slow. Yet it had a pretty lead. I would watch her in anything. I think she's in the Evil Dead remake, Cloverfield, and a few other horror movies I haven't seen.

But cancellations were bad for me this season with Cult, 666 Park Avenue, and Zero Hour. All of which have more episodes just sitting there waiting to be shown.

Game of Thrones has gone torture porn this season with the Theon storyline. Puts Hostel I to shame.

I hate that storyline. It's gotten really boring and repetitive. Plus it makes no sense.

Arrow Finale and Supernatural Finale

I really liked the way both shows ended this season. Supernatural really turned around this season, it was much better then the last which was just terrible.

Raising Hope, watched it on a whim, a lot darker than I thought. I liked it.

Me too. I think that storyline is boring. I'm halfway through reading A Storm of Swords, and haven't gotten to any of that story in the book, although I'm pretty sure I know who the torturer is. (No spoilers please) But in the show it's pretty boring and repetitive, like you said.

There is alot of stuff in the book that happens alot later then what there showing now.The books are alot better, plus there is not that much sex in the book, i think they have made a good job on the tv series tho, the first series was just like the book, they have drifted of a bit more now, but not that bad.
