Although the poster looks pretty good, it could still be a fake. I still have doubts about this, especially since IMO this is a fucking HORRIBLE idea. We'll see though.

They're not going to do this cause the average person won't see it. The first one did good because the average person has heard of Jason or Freddy an seen 1 or 2 of their movies. But only horror fans have even heard of Evil Dead. The average person will say"Who the fuck is Ash?" an thats why they won't make this.

well, the the mass at large will go see it because it is a second movie starring j and f, ash will be a curiosity to those who aren't familiar with the dead flicks, i read that the working script is pretty interesting and ties all three of them together (ash is after necromonicon to destroy it, freddy needs it to become powerful, whoops, necro. is in the basement of jasons house)

Evil Dead was popular enough to have 2 video games based on it, I'd say it's pretty well known

this is a 3 year down the road there's nothing left to rent at blockbuster type movie

although it will be nice to see ash on flim again i'd much rather see another evil dead movie instead of the combining of franchiess
