Shurayukihime (Lady Snowblood) (1973)

Classic. If you haven't seen this film yet, make it a priority.

was strange ending but I made my mind up he was dreaming all that bad shit up that happened to hime because when he woke up again she was in bed still then when he went back to sleep he fell into that awful nightmare again please tell me if I wrong but thats the way I got it.......

to get the full Audition effect you have to know nothing of the movie before watching it.

As for the ending... no they were real. They were her memories. They explained why she is the way she is. The rape, the sexual abuse, the physical and metal abuse.

Hilarious flick.

Just ordered 6 of Stephen Chow's older movies on Ebay the other day. Can't wait for their arrival. :)

The Host

One of the best opening half hours in any film, shame the film struggles to keep up the momentum

Pray/ Purei

Nice and claustrophobic movie.

So far i've got a SC collection consisting of "CJ7", "Shaolin soccer" and "Kung fu hustle", With Shaolin and Kung Fu being equally hilarious and entertaining.

"The king of comedy" 6-7/10

A mess of a movie.

Stephen Chow has certainly advanced a lot as a director since The King Of Comedy. Weird that there's only 2 years between this one and Shaolin Soccer.

Not that TKOC is not funny. There's just longer between the laughs than in his last 3 movies. Nevertheless it HAD me laughing out loud twice for more than 15 seconds straight.
