I hated Brokeback Mountain. It wasn't anywhere near amazing as everyone claimed it to be, and it certainly wasn't a love story. I was not convinced at all by the so-called "amazing performances". And no, I'm not homophobic. When I say I hated this movie, that's the first response I get. I was expecting something more. Not an hour of sheep, a quick fuck in a tent, and then two men horny for each other the rest of the film. I felt like their relationship was nothing but that. Sex. Once in a while; fishing. Fucking (I felt like we didn't even see their relationship - just the romping. Passionate kissing, sex, then a 5 minute talk. No romance whatsoever. Jake's character even started seeing other men. That's love, huh? The greatest love story of the year? I don't think so. The ending wasn't even a tearjerker as many claimed to bawl. It was sub-par to me, and did not deserve all the attention it got.

Ahem. Sorry, I always get angered when that movie comes up, mainly because I was expecting it to be good and it just flat out wasn't.

The Matador - Finally in the club. Seems everyone here has seen this one already, and have enjoyed it. I thought it might be ruined due to all the hype I was witnessing, but to my surprise... it was entirely different then what I was expecting, and I loved it all the same. A great film, and definitely one I would reccomend. :) "That's it."

C.R.A.Z.Y. next. Good ol' Canadian movie.

Shane (1953)

I still love this movie. Jack Palance is great as the villain.

C.R.A.Z.Y.

One of the better films I've seen in a while. I love me a good ol' dysnfuctional family.

Everyone does need to see this, unfortunately it's probably too late.

My second favorite film of all-time! It never, ever, ever gets old, and it's funnier every time you watch it.

A Prairie Home Companion (2006)

Not bad, not good. Started out promising but gave way a little within the meat of the film.
