i dont know if anyone is familiar with this - but its based on a 1904 comic strip.
I have a huge anthology of these comics and they were brilliant. Each pane painstakenly drawn in great detail .. back when people put time and care into their craft.

anyway - it was interesting to see how it was translated to a modern cartoon - and bless them - they actually tried to recreate the look and feel of the origional strip - and included a lot of things that happened in those old comics.

it wasnt perfect - but it was cool to see.

Watched it a bunch of times when I was a kid, haven't seen it since though.

TCM--The Beginning 6.5/10

*****************spoilers********************

If you liked the 2003 remake you may like this. Its pretty much the same movie. Why call this "The Beginning" when that whole part consisted of a deformed baby being born in a meat packing plant...thrown in the dumpster...found by crazy family....flash forward to maybe a week before the 2003 remake......thats the beginning?....no explanations of where these people came from or why they are all fucking nuts. For a TCM movie it was ok...but its been done to death. It is always fun to see R. Lee Emery do his Sgt. Hartman character on acid shtick though.

Warlock: The Armageddon.
I don't know why I like this movie so much, but I do. It entertains me.

The Amityville Horror (original). For some reason I had never seen it. It was ok. Not sure if I liked it. Needs more thought lol.

the audio commentary (in japanese) by the director and cast is interesting.

there seems to be more shots of dead people (they talk on the commentary about what was removed to get the rating)

"Click" 7/10

I found it occasionally very funny. Especially the the scenes including David Hasselhof was hillarious.

That being said, "Click" felt more like a drama than a comedy to me. Even had me in tears once.

All in all an okay Adam Sandler movie.
