Let's see. I watched John Waters' kick-ass "Female Trouble" on IFC last night.

Previous to that was "Chicken Little" in the theatre this last saturday.

Me thinks I need to get some horror in here before too long.

Possibly the best in the series, if you ignore the 3-D "jab" shots, which most people can't...

Just watched Dog Soldiers (again)

gorefreak 11-09-2005 07:22 PM

I didn't think "28 Days Later" was all that bad. In fact, it's 1000 times better than "House Of The Dead" and "Darkness". :)

In the Mouth of Madness

Well, this one certainly was an original, and somewhat confusing, plot. The gore was minimal but what was there was okay. The acting was good, the story was pretty cool and as usual, John Carpenter did a good job directing.

Mystery Science Theatre 3000: Hercules Unchained

Well, Hercules itself sucked. Horrible editing, and overdubbing, nonsensical plot, all around terrible movie.

D-

But as for the MST3K version with the commentary, that was a large step forward. This episode certainly wasn't their best, but the witty remarks are abundant and it makes for a fairly entertaining view.

I agree, Spammer.

More of a lesbian drama than a horror movie, but has not enough porn in it to be interesting. Disappointing!!!

The last movie I saw was called "nothing". I liked it.

noctuary 11-12-2005 06:56 AM

Lost Things, a fairly interesting Australian movie. A nice sense of mystery develops throughout the film, leading up to an ending similar to Jacob's Ladder. 6/10

Loved that movie, it sent so many emotions through me.

I was so disturbed by it, because the innocence and torture were just hammered into you with no reward.

Saw 2 [No Spoilers, dont worry]

I thought it was great! There were still a couple plot holes, but not as bad as the first one. And, like the first one, it had some great twists, though the final twist in both films is fairly weak. The acting was a step up for the most part, however the characters in the house were so friggin flat they might as well been pancakes.

Overall it was good, as good if not better than the first. Recomended.
