You watch some crazy prono then... tame sexually but gory. Sure you're not watching snuff films? (Which I think Eli Roth was trying to mimic in some ways.) ANYWAY, I'd say Hostel on this one.

I've never been a big porn fan, but, this movie was just a boobfest. which isn't always a problem, but it was just annoying.

Don't mince words, if it's a problem then it's annoying but I can see where your coming from. Boobs don't really build up to gore well do they? It wasn't what I expected from the first half of the movie either but I looked at it in a different way; I thought the downward spiral of events made it more exciting because it was more traumatic for the people involved. I know quite a few people who enjoyed the movie but said they would've skipped the first hour which seems to be an opinion fairly close to yours.

Thank YOU!!!....I was SOOO disappointed...After the first 40 minutes of this movie, I was seriously tempted to take out the DVD and see if it wasn't something like 'Pussy Quest"...Over 40 minutes and you didn't even see anyone get HURT...WTF?!

I understand that sometimes they have to throw in some T&A to 'thrill the guys' or whatever:rolleyes: ...But, that was fucking overkill...

I was seriously looking forward to watching this movie (now I'm thinking maybe if I hadn't bought the uncut version there may not have been so much nudity and sex...I'll never know)...Anyway...When it got to the part where it actually became a HORROR movie, I loved the premise, and the movie itself was great...But...I was already kinda pissed off and disgusted by then...

I just gotta add this...I've been a horror fan since I was little...So have my kids...BUT...They just can't watch ANYTHING anymore because of this stupid shit.....How are we supposed to be able to raise the new generation of Horror fans?
I agree with those 'few people'...If it had been on VHS, I could have just erased the first 45 minutes and had a REAL 'Horror' movie...Wish I could do that with this DVD...Stupid 'technological advances' :rolleyes:


Oh yeah...And I'm voting for Lucky...Of course...

Don't get me wrong, I liked Hostel. My opinion is the same as most of the rest of you. I like T&A as much as the next guy. I own & love Caligula. For this movie, though, it just didn't seem to fit. I was hoping for WAAAAYYYY more torture, especially after all the hype.
