It is not "the Birds", but I do not know what else it could be from, and has the film question, which some suggest "the Hills have eyes" could be, been answered yet? Because it could be "the Hills have eyes" sequel or remake. It might not be, but I am just guessing.

It is not the sequel of the remake, that one is about a group of national guardsmen. Might be the remake though (haven't seen that one).

Help remembering the name of a movie

Greetings to you all,
I have this scene in mind that I cannot shake, but cannot put a title to the movie it comes from:confused: Here's what I remember:

A woman is begging for her life and crying, and the man who wants to kill her and has her in his power is imitating her sobs sarcastically, and then he says something like "shut up you bitch, you don't understand, I can't take no pleasure in killing like this - sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, and you don't have to like it" and the woman says "please I'd do anything" and the crying repeats and the imitation and insane laughter. Actually, I think there might have been 2 killers working together.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me remember this. Thanks.

ddwscw 07-08-2009 10:08 AM

Do you know this movie's name?

I say a movie on TV when I was a kid. This would have been sometime between 1970 and 1975. It was a black and white movie and since it was on
TV, must have been made in the 40's, 50's or early 60's. The parts I remember are:
It was about a house on a cliff over looking the ocean or a sea.
There were ghosts (more than one) that watched and/or were seen in the mirrors and windows.
They included ghosts of people who had died from going off the cliff or crashing on the rocks below.
I thins it included a scene where one of the living people went through a mirror and was trapped on the mirror image side.
This movie scared me to death as a child and I have been trying to find it again ever since.
It is not "House on Haunted Hill' nor is it "The Uninvited"
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Debbi

I'm just giving this one last go in case it was overread.

Okay, so I saw this movie years ago and I can only give a short description of what I still remember (no big surprise there I reckon).
I believe the movie was actually split up in two stories, in one some creature/monster was locked up in someone's private lab. The scientist who'd done that was all secretive about it and his colleague (or something) got curious and snooped around, suddenly hearing some child crying/asking for help inside some container. Turned out that this was the monster and he helped it to get out without knowing. Not sure what happened next.

The second story was about a man who was in love with some woman, but she couldn't stand him and he figured it was his looks. So he cuts off his hair/nose/ears and lips too I think and starts killing people seeking replacements and "improve" himself. I vividly recall him paying a visit to his object of desire wearing a hat and scarf and telling her he's about to have a fresh start while removing the head first and then the scarf..

Now in the end I think these two stories came together somehow, but it's a bit fuzzy.

2 Movies to die by... Well, aren't they all?

Anthology episode: Dream of a coffin, man trapped in a lift?

A woman dreams that her husband is trapped in a coffin. I think the man is a real estate agent about to go on a business trip, and naturally he scoffs at her concerns over this dream. He travels to a large empty house in a remote location. Using the elevator to go upstairs, the lift stops dead trapping him between floors. As in in his wife's dream, the episode ends with the guy screaming "help! help!"; screams which won't be heard as he is alone and no one is expected to check the place out for weeks.

Psychological Thriller About Recurring Dreams

1. The movie was possibly released 1990-1995
2. A man has recurring dreams that begin to make him think he's going crazy.
3. In the dreams his wife often appears unexpectedly wanting to kill him (for instance he dreams he's seeing a therapist and when the therapist turns around it's his wife holding a gun on him).
4. The man worries if he dies in his dream, is it real?
5. In the end, he shoots himself in his dream to wake up, but turns out he was not dreaming (he was awake) and kills himself.

Superman1 07-12-2009 03:37 PM

movie with multiple humanoid sea monsters

This, also from onother person, being a few monsters sounds more likely a Jap or Harryhausen.

(60's - 80's movie approx). A monster at a dock that looked like a combination between some sort of aquatic creature and a human (not Octaman).
Two monsters clashed with each other at a dock, or the monster tried to commit suicide by using its arms to choke itself.
However, there were other beasts too, which I think lurked beneath the monster. One looked like a cat, and the other maybe a shark. I also remember someone putting the monster in a net, or either tried to put in some sort of device to put it back on the dock.

There were also piles of papers, or what looked like paper, surfaced on top of the water.
Additionally, the monster has a Frankenstein monster shaped head, King Kong like nostrils, one or maybe three big exposing teeth, and a fish-like mouth; it also had smoke coming out of its nostrils, I think. ;)

IMDB poster on the Horror board said: Both of those stories sound like the movie I, Madman.

Seems to have one story; though there is a monster in it, can't find the scene you describe.

horrorman 07-12-2009 05:58 PM

I found what I was looking for.

I asked about a severed head on a ground. It was actually a severed head (I got that right) on a table. It is from "Virus" (1999).

The aquatic-like monster that I thought was on a dock is actually a robot put on a table, it came back to live, but was killed. It is from "Virus" (1999). (I was right about the support beam and the papers on the ground, though)

The monster who I thought had worms crawling across his face is actually a corpse lying in a coffin who has worms slithering on his face (he still had worms on his face). It is from a bonus clip of the director's cut of "the Frighteners" (1996).

At first, I was wondering why no one knew this clips, but I was way off with the information, thanks anyways.

It has got to be the one.. now to find a copy of it somewhere!

Your, Kingdom for I, Madman

Don't thank me. Your kingdom goes to the guy who solved it. :D

Another reply confirmed:
Its definitely I, Madman. Theres a guy who cuts off his features, and a story within the film about a monster in a crate, half human half jackal, which turns out to be real at the end. Its a cool film, very underrated.

It's on the Amazing Amazon for about 6 bux.

the_one_freeman 07-14-2009 09:15 PM

Does anyone know what movie this is?

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. My mother was telling me about a movie she saw as part of a triple feature at a drive in when she was younger. She can't remember the name, but she says there was a scene where "a woman was in the shower, then a man comes in, then they hug and then the woman's boobs grow eyes and teeth and eat the man's chest". That was the description she gave me, and I'm kind of interested in knowing what movie it is.

Glasgow_Smile 07-15-2009 01:45 PM

Too bad I'm king of Jack and shit then.. and Jack left town. ;)

@ the_one_freeman: I don't have a clue, but it sounds intriguing nonetheless.

I saw this movie around 1992 but I only remember bits and pieces of it. All of what I remember played out in a skyscraper. There's demons there trying to capture this child in red clothes.

In one scene the child looks in a mirror and the mirror image starts moving on it's own and holds the child stuck to the mirror. There's also an old man outside the window pretending to be a normal window cleaning guy but is actually also a demon. When the childs parents see the demons they grab the child and try to flee. They come to the bottom floor of the skyscraper which is a parking lot. All the cars here are frozen in ice. Once they start to move among the cars they "wake up" and try to run them over.

That's all I remember. Anyone know which movie it is?

I'm looking for a title here guys. It's going to be a challenge.

I saw this movie in 2002-2003 and it was still on the New Release shelf of the local video store. The store has since been renamed and restocked, getting rid of all of their less popular movies.

The plot was as follows: A group of independent researchers go to a local mansion that is supposedly haunted by the female slave owner and slaves that resided there. The entire film was shot with hand-held cameras in night vision.

Needless to say, the movie was low budget and pretty awful. A few key scenes I remember are: The chandelier on the first floor falls, nearly missing one of the crew members - in the attic, a guy's foot goes through the floorboards and he pulls out a decomposing arm - they find a secret passageway through the back of a bedroom closet, where they discover their missing friends chained to tables. They then proceed to free their friends and flee from the house.

While I can't remember the exact name, I know the title had something to do with "Francis (or Frances) Hill". I can't find any info whatsoever online.

Thanks.

A friend of mine and I are trying to find the name of a movie that we saw when we were little kids about 11-13 years ago or so. It would have been made in the late 80's or early 90's I'm guessing, but I really have no idea for sure.

I was too young to get the overall plot (I think we were maybe 10 or 11), but of the things I remember: a man killed and buried some woman's (maybe his daughter's?) illegitimate child, and then I think she might have killed him and he spent the rest of the movie haunting her basically.. It was so long ago and I was so young that like I said I'm extremely fuzzy on most of it.. I do remember there being one of those deals where they tried to conjure up a spirit, but what we both remember the most was the very end of the movie in one of those retardedly cliche moments.. after everything seemed to be fine and settled, the woman went to her bed and was about ready to go to sleep and just on an inkling she checked under the bed, and the guy (maybe just his head, lol) of course was under it as it cut to the credits..

Sorry I can't be more specific than that. Any ideas? I'd really appreciate it, thanks!

Unknown book

Hello all, I read a horror book a couple of years ago but can't remember the name of it or the author so I am hoping somebody on this site might know and be able to help me.
I think it goes something like this.
There's a truck driver that drives through a town and he stops for some reason and maybe has a run in with the law, but on the way out picks up a girl hitching a lift and trying to escape the town.
The story is about her trip in the truck and the people in this town which are led by her family I believe, and the sheriff might be her father, and somehow she turns into a monster.
I don't know if this makes any sense to anybody.

Thanks, Neil.

Alex1 08-05-2009 09:22 AM

What movie is this?

Starts out with two panicked parents coming home and killing themselves. Before the mother killed herself she carved a number her son's hand. It is the vault number where some unknown terror exists.

Twenty or thirty years later a facility is being decommissioned all of the vaults are examined for any threat. The kid with the carving shows up and tells them not to open vault X, whatever it is. The vault has already been cleared, but upon a second look there is a secret compartment. When it's opened it releases an unstoppable vine or plant or something like that.

What film am I thinking of?

Hello all, I'm trying to find a film I watched when I was younger, I have a very vague memory of it. I would love to see it again before I forget completely about it.

What I remember is that it starts off with a motorcyle or car accident and then the people involved are taken to a lab somewhere close where they are helped, think the boyfriend dies but then he comes back alive, like a zombie. This bit makes me think it's Cronenberg's Rabid.
However I remember one other scene is where a group of them are travelling through the sewers and they're about to climb out/up and one of them who is infected or something suddenly mutates, his neck grows abnormally long and he starts attacking his counterparts. Unfortunately that's all I remember.

Anyone any idea?

Ferox13 08-06-2009 03:08 AM

First one is definally Rabid.
