the fact that fvj had been considered since '95 and didn't surface until recently should have been a tip off that the film was a big steaming peice of shit, but now another retched sequel. my childhood idol had been sufficiently destroyed with the last one. i can't take another dissapointment.

IMO keep in freddy and jason added any one else will ruin in miserably.. come on ash is human one hit from jason or freddy ash would die so i would never want to see him.. besides bruce cambell is getting to old looking to play ash or even make a good fight scene with freddy or jason

Watch ever single f13 and NOES movie, and look at who it is that usually takes down Freddy or Jason. Most of the time, some teenager on the verge of freaking out...right? Now look at Ash, consider the things he's been through....the guys half-crazy already, pretty damn resourcefull, and has a real hard-on for taking out evil...not to mention the fact that he usually arms himself quite well... I agree, Bruce could still be Ash, for sure, and I bet he wouldn't look half as "old" as Arnie has in his last few outings, besides...I think an older Ash would look kinda cool... |

I think that Sean William Scott isn't THAT well suited...I mean, he could be in horror for sure, just not AS Ash.
If they HAVE to put on somebody as a NEW, younger Ash, I'd go with either Nicholas Brendon from Buffy, who could probably pull off the one-liners, and was always the good underdog type guy... or Not sure of the guys name, but there was one dude in the crappy p.o.s semi-horror movie called "Legion of the dead" that I thought actually looked like a younger version of Bruce, similar mannerisms too... Either way, the guy that plays the lead. - B. |
