Oh well, RAIDER ON (to last place, most likely)

I never said it would ease the pain, I'm just saying the pain isn't as bad for fans of a team that just sucks.

Raiders are gonna get Brady Quinn(or the guy from Clemson, can't think of his name.) and rebuild, just hang on.

Yeah well they found him in the afl, he played full back for geelong and used to kick it out over half the ground, well Rocca was a forward and he could kick it further.

Spec7ral 09-14-2006 06:59 PM

I bleed purple and gold. We better win our shit little division this year. I hope Culpepper loses every single game with the fish this year. It would have been nice to see us go and get Branch before Seattle scooped him up since Robinson can't stop getting drunk and arrested. Oh well, he's cheesehead property now. GL HF with that.

P.S. At least you won't have to watch the Saints lose for much more than a season or two, you know that Ahh-nuld and the cali kids want to see Bush and the LA Saints pronto.

Benson can't move the team for another 3 years and only then if the city hasn't improved enough. Last I checked the Monday night game is sold out along with 60k season tickets, they aint going anywhere.

By the way, the Bears are in that shit little division.

Spec7ral 09-14-2006 07:35 PM

Bears FTL IMO

Not sure what that means but I'm sure it's something bad about the Bears. So I'll just say that they're pretty damn good and leave it at that.

AUSTIN316426808 09-16-2006 05:47 PM

I think I've done pretty good with what's happened these last couple days. I only broke 2 glasses, punched just one hole in the wall and hyperventilated, nearly having a heart attack twice which is way short of the norm.

Despare 09-16-2006 08:40 PM

Notre Dame is my second favorite team...

But U of M is my fave! Go Wolverines!

AUSTIN316426808 09-16-2006 10:28 PM

The Irish just aren't that good. They've got all the talent you could ask for at the skill positions but other than that they're soft. If you look at last year they didn't really beat anybody. They played 3 really legit teams..Michigan State, USC and Ohio State..they lost all 3 games.

Oh yeah, Fuck Auburn.

Spec7ral 09-16-2006 11:24 PM

Vikes face Panthers wmoro mornin'. Fuck, even tho its in minnesota and carolina doesnt have smith ( i dont think) its still gonna be tuff since the panthers arent gonna be lookin to start the season 0-2. Game of the week IMO. Vikes FTW.

Spec7ral 09-17-2006 05:10 PM

Vikes pulled it out on the ol' fake FG to tie. Peppers was fucking scary good tho, we were lucky to pull that one out. I need Washington and Pitts to win the week for my pool. :o fingers crossed

Man that clip is awesome.

Multikillionare 09-17-2006 07:01 PM

Yup i was very pleased with the vikings win. should be a good game agaisnt the bears next week.

ItsAlive75 09-17-2006 07:48 PM

The team to beat in the NFC....

Daaaaaaa Bears! To all you Viking fans, you're not gonna be able to squeeze out a lucky victory against us next week. You're lucky Carolina has so many injuries, and that fucked up backwards pass... otherwise we're siitin' pretty allllll alone atop the North.

you've beat the packers and the lions GFG neither were in the playoff last year, if you combined their wins they wouldnt have made it. We've beaten the skins and the panthers both playoff teams. and the only real injury on the panthers is SMith, its the 2nd week its not like they are decimated by injury, Oh yeah, the game is in the dome, not on soldier field and theres no way grossn00b is gonna get 4 touchdowns again this year unless you play the raiders. The only thing the bears are gonna get next week is a purple fart from the vikes sitting atop them in the div TBH.

The only thing the bears have going for them is that their schedule is one of easiest. I still don't buy into Grossman because he threw a few TDs vs GB and DET. Whats up with T. Jones? He is on my fantasy team but the bears can't get a running game going on.

The best team in the NFC were battling in philadelphia and the Giants won it! Great 17 pt comeback in the 4th!!

bwind22 09-17-2006 11:14 PM

Vikings are finding ways to get 'er done. I do think the Bears game will be tough, but I have faith.

The Namath clip is funny, but not as awesome as the Twins fan of the game the other day... Check this out...

Bears have played the packers and the lions. big deal. vikings have played two palyoff teams. i expect a low scoring vikings win.

I was watching that live and I ended up rewinding it about 6 times on my DVR just because I couldn't believe how prefect the timing was! Stuff like that is why I LOVE watching any live tv program. You just never know what you're gonna see...

The Vikings haven't played a defense as good as Chicago's but the Bears haven't played a team (Offense or defense) as good as the Vikes. I predict a low scoring 10-17 sort of battle.

AUSTIN316426808 09-18-2006 02:23 PM

The Vikings did beat two playoff teams but those teams were missing the two players that make their offenses run.

Grossman was the 22nd pick in the draft coming off a great college career, he's been injured and hasn't really gotten his chance. I don't get all the doubting thrown his way in what's only his first year with the job. And I don't care who you're playing, 20-27 for 289 and 4 TDs(0 INTs) is a great performance, I'm not saying he's gonna be Elway just that it shouldn't be a total shock if he does well.

My prediction for what it's worth, 20-13(give or take a field goal or two) Bears.

Anyway, Saints are 2-0 and hopefully they can take over the south Monday back in the dome.

Oh yeah, Fuck Auburn.

Spec7ral 09-18-2006 06:57 PM

people will continue to doubt the saints for another week or two, then they'll be 4-0 and everyone will be like oh yeah they have drew brees and reggie bush, wtf was i thinking? Chargers and Rivers will run into trouble and then the talk about letting brees go will be music to the saints fans ears. I think that the vikes game will prolly come down to a touchdown, hopefully its in the vikes favor tho. One of my best friends is going to that game and we live in fuking vancouver so hopefully his first vikes game is a win. the key to this one is gonna be the fact that b.j. isnt a stat whore. the carolina d was all over them but they waited it out and found a way to win. espect much of a similar game this week. as much as i loved moss carter smith and culpepper wreaking havoc in huge chunks, ill take the wins that b.j. is putting on the board no problem.

AUSTIN316426808 09-18-2006 07:25 PM

What about Grant, Smith, Horn, McAllister, Colston, McKenzie, Fujita, Bullocks, Harper, Bellamy, Thomas, Craft, Simoneau, Gleason, Johnson, Henderson, Brown, Mayberry, Young, Thomas..

There's alot of good and great players on the team that Brees is centerpiece of. I'm not trying to downplay Bush's significance, justa little tired of everybody else downplaying how good the entire team is playing and not just Bush.

Spec7ral 09-18-2006 08:44 PM

we all know its a team game, obviously you being a coach, emphasis is more on the team aspect for you.. im just saying the new additions will be the highlighted feature should they reach undefeated after 4 games. Sportscenter is never gonna show the key block on an 8 yard gain midfield on first down that set up the game winning touchdown the next play, you gotta watch the games to know how important that play (and all the players) was (/were).

Not Sportscenter so much but NFL shows do. I get what you're saying though.

And uh...Fuck Auburn.

Going to have to disagree with ya, last night's game was pretty damn good.

tarcher80 09-19-2006 08:41 AM

a gross showing by my pittsburgh steelers last night.

Spec7ral 09-19-2006 01:46 PM

Jacksonville is gonna be the team to beat in the AFC if they can upset Indy next week ( i think they may have beaten them last year...?), their defense was absolutely stiflling. Could be a defensive superbowl this year if these trends keep up.

ItsAlive75 09-24-2006 09:31 PM

To all you Vikings fans;

OHHHHHHHH YEEAAAAAHHHHHHHH! GO BEARS!

Despare 09-24-2006 09:53 PM

That was a good game. Despite a last minute loss, I'm feeling good that the Vikes played another playoff team right down to the closing minutes. We'll just have to bitchslap them at Soldier next time.

yep

Spec7ral 09-25-2006 05:19 AM

that game was a fucking heartbreaker

bwind22 09-25-2006 06:21 AM

It was one we should have won, but there's still a lot of positives to take away from it.

I don't believe it - he loves himself too much to commit suicide.

ROTFLMAO!!! Too funny!

He's having a press conference in 15 minutes. I know I won't watch.

Spec7ral 09-27-2006 06:53 PM

this wsa the best thing i had heard about TO in a long time.

bwind22 09-27-2006 09:41 PM

I don't believe that he tried to kill himself. I think it was more of an unintentional overdose. He seemed perfectly fine at the press conference and I really wouldn't even be surprised to see him on the field this weekend.
