Excellent movie. My favorite kind of horror, story first and horror second. Well acted and very creepy. |

Whispering Corridors and Ju-On 2
Both movies were very... average. Worth seeing, but I don't think I'll watch them again. Well maybe I'd watch Ju-on 2 again, probably not Whispering Corridors though. |

i'm so confused about these Korean and Japanese films .. from what i've read the whispering corridors is sort of part of a trilogy taking place in korean girls schools ? or am i a mile off ? |

You´re right. And they´re dull as hell. Except for the lesbian part of course.:D |

I thought it was pretty good. Nicely different from alot of other asian ghost movies.:) |

well, i still wouldnt mind checking them out ..
my problem has been with the asian store i go to - the covers are rarely in english. and the same movie can be in there with 3 different covers. (i'm still trying to figure out which Ju-on movies i have. usually english subtitles - but i've been burnt for that too .. |

I can't remember I think it was The Eye but I don't think I actually finished it haha
It was good though I thought I want to see The Eye 2 that looks........ MINT :] |
It's not BAD, but I didn't think it was as good as the first :P
Mainly because the first is a classic! :D |
Havnt had that problem yet. Only problem I've had is when the subs were very badly synced with the speech, or when the translation was awful.

Re-cycle by the Pang brothers. Visually beautiful, but very cheesy towards the end, with a very annoying moralizing tone. A big letdown from these two...

And unlike many here it seems, I am not an Italian movies freak. There are good movies from there, of course, but there is a side to them I find sometimes a tad too cheesy. Just my opinion anyways... |

The last Asian flick i watched was Dead or Alive. I really like Japanese movies, especially horror, but i'm a big fan of Takashi Miike. This was a great flick, not horror, but still alot of fun. His yakuza films are excellent as well.
