I read this book and I thought it was great! Very chilling, kept you guesses and around each corner was a surprise. The only downside was it had a very Christian ending that didn't really work with the story, but hopefully they will fix that here. Great ride until the end though. :)

Looks pretty good...I've been waiting for this kinda horror flick for a long time. And it's really good to have Mr. Gary Oldman in our favorite genre.:)

Yeah, it's based on a book by the same name (though when it was initially released in hardback it was called Let Me In) and is getting rereleased into paperback later this month. I think it would be a good read.

So...Piccolo isn't green anymore? The hell?

I'm not a huge Dragonball fan, but I grew up with it (DBZ moreso than the original, but both for sure). Hell, Dragonball Z pretty much defines my middle school years - I really don't want them to fuck this up.

Trailer looks horrendous though...one of the coolest things about the show was the time period: you could never tell when in God's name it was set, because it mixed a whole bunch of ancient looking setting with ultra futuristic ones. This version looks firmly set in the present.

And what's with Roshi looking about 40? If that?

I think Marsters is great casting for Piccolo, but the trailer ruined it - at the very least keep him green. As it is he looks more like Dennis Hopper's version of Bowser :rolleyes: .

*sigh*...I guess we can hope it will do well at the boxoffice, and that we can see some of the Cell saga in the sequel. Or Frieza...Hell, I'd even be happy with Majin Buu - how badass would it be to see ANY of those on the big screen, done properly?

Yeah, I thought the no-green Piccolo was pretty gay too, but Marsters is a good choice and he may pull it off well. Probably wait until DVD on this one.

I don't think I saw any of the original Dragonball, though. I started watching DBZ everyday after school and came in when Frieza arrived on the scene. Frieza would be awesome! Much better than the Cell saga I thought.
