That's a shitty excuse...If you're having a problem at home in your real world life, keep it THERE...Kick your dog or shoot your boss, but don't come here and kick US...That goes ESPECIALLY for Moderators....Being drunk is no excuse either...A couple of years ago I posted on this forum after I came home from the club (twice, actually), and I didn't ban anyone, nor did I start any shit...I doubt that I would have had the ability to perform the functions involved in banning someone even if I had WANTED to....And, why would I want to start any shit?...I was feeling pretty damned good ;)

I really wish that I could help you with that...I can only tell you that Zwoti and I have never banned/would never ban anyone under those circumstances...And I still think of ALL the bullshit that has EVER gone on here, that was the absolute worst, and most uncalled for...When people who can't control THEMSELVES are given any type of control on a forum, stupid shit happens...You also have to consider the 'dishonesty' factor....If the mod who did that would have AT LEAST had the balls to say something like "Oops, I fucked up because I don't really know what the hell I'm doing"..."Well, I'm just an asshole and figured I could do whatever I wanted"..."I just didn't like that person"...Or give SOME explanation, it wouldn't have been quite AS bad...Liars piss me off....I'm gonna end this one right here before I say things I shouldn't...

The request for banning someone was the catalyst that led to this thread which is to discuss a way to better define THE RULES...This thread wasn't really about whether or not someone should be banned...But, about what should be considered a 'bannable offense' and whether his comment would have been considered such... |
