That's going to be tough when they stop making HD format. Blu-Ray has officially won the format war. Why do you think that HD player was so cheap? Five years from now there won't be any new HD discs released.

They have so many classic 2-discers and box sets for such rediculously low prices. Love that place.

Yeah, Costco's pretty kickass. I might go up there later this week to pick up The Alien Quadrilogy, I think it's 35 bucks there.

So is the Kubrick boxset (with all the 2-disc SEs) and the John Ford/ John Wayne set.

I dont think Blu-Ray will replace DVDs .. pretty sure they will go the way of the laserdisc ... Better quality (than dvd) but only serious movie fans will care.
unless the price comes way down - and fast.
Something else - because both HD and Blu-Ray are so expensive - they wont rish pitting out non-blockbuster titles.

Nice set of movies. I got it in the big set with the mini busts and the Dracula and Frankenstein sets.

I'm still looking for The Mummy, Creature From The Black Lagoon and The Invisible Man sets.

^^ The set with the mini busts looks cool as fuck! I've got the Frankenstein set I'll have to keep an eye out for the others.

I found it for $3 after digging thru the cheap bin.

i have the set with the busts - and the other 3 as well .. i dont have the Hammer one though.

funny thing is i bought them seperately - then i was at a flea market and someone was selling the box - with the busts - no movies - for $10 - so i bought it and popped in my box sets :)
