This was only her second time watching the film. She jumped and loved the adoration and looked really fucking HOT! MY GOD, SHE'S SO HOT!

so...um...good night at the cinema

and John Saxon and Bob Clark were there doing a Q & A

Woah!

What was it? A premiere, or what?

Right on, you lucky bastard.

Yeah, but at the time it kind of started that whole "you-know what" tiwst, so when it came out it wasn't as predictable.
.

not neccasarily. 12 monkeys came out 3 years prior. I had seen that before i had fight club, and they kinda had the same twist going on there.

the only film the schizo-twist really worked with IMO is Secret Window. i dont care what anyone says, i dug that flick.

Really?

I thought that wa the absolute worst of the schizo-twist movies. You could see it coming a mile away and the performances by two otherwise solid actors were soooo ham-fisted and sloppy. Absolutely hated that film.

Glad to see Im not the only one that really enjoyed Secret Window.

So what if the twist was fairly obvious (Especially as it neared the climax)? It was still very well executed and made for a damn good movie IMO.

And for the record, Angel Heart kicks more ass than any of these twists put together:cool:

I would never go so far as to say i thought it was a good movie, but i could sit through Johnny Depp spitting on every page of a phone book. I just enjoy him.

I watched The Nightmare Before Christmas yesterday.... Its great to watch a 1 year old dance to that kind of kid-creepy movie :)

Hollow Man

Barring some piss-poor acting, this is light entertainment at its finest.

I enjoyed Secert Window...it wasn't very good, but I thoroughly enjoyed it, and own it. It was fun, and it kept me entertained.

Mothman, you're right about 12 Monkeys...I'm just saying it was pretty damn original at its release time...and I believe it still is. The twist is just one good case of study, but there are so many great ideas and themes to dissect in the film.

Exactly. It really isnt a great film per se, but throughly entertaining. The performances alone make it worth multiple viewing and the incredibly low price that the DVD goes for.
