@NE

That sangria recipe sounds pretty good....I'm gonna have to make that some time.

Marroe 11-29-2008 04:23 PM

I may try that recipe some time. I actually love Sangria. There's a place in Saint Louis called Guido's that makes it better than any I've ever had before, and every time I go I end up killing a pitcher myself :o. I like to eat the soft orange peels.

Haha, I do.
I pretty much just spend 20 minutes looking at the import/specialty beer section and pick out either what I've heard is good or what looks good/interesting.

fortunato 12-04-2008 05:42 PM

Right now I'm enjoying a cold Westmalle Trappist Ale:

Good stuff. Perfect for a warm evening inside.

Disease 12-04-2008 06:15 PM

I've seen Duvel in the shops but not tried it, what is it like, I don't like the label, I guess that a rather shallow reason for not trying it, but hell it's the first impresion.

Where as the the St Peters, I haven't had the one you did, but I buy this one occasionally ,..

I tried to show you once why your images won't show, but you would have none of it. I'll try to show you again if you're willing. I'll even do it via PM. Send me one if you want.

I've not had that one. The one I got was quite good, though. Certainly not the best porter I've ever had (this one was actually a little light), but definitely worth trying.

Duvel is by far one of the best brews ever. Seriously, I'm not even going to say anything about it. Definitely pick one up next time you can and let me know what you think.

mikeyjay88 12-10-2008 02:45 PM

Haha nice. I love to drink, it has totally consumed my life though.

hacelikewhoa 12-10-2008 02:47 PM

I don't really drink that much.. but mostly because Its unavailable to me and I'm not going to go out of my way asking people to get me some when next year I can buy it on my own. But when I have it....I will drink it until its gone.

mikeyjay88 12-10-2008 02:49 PM

Yea a friend of mine works at the liquor store here so when hes working i just go in and get what i need. Next year however i too get to buy it wherever, whenever.
