I don't think it'll have that amount of running time, may be 1:45 or 2 hrs at best. Wikipedia says there will be a sequel "from the point of view of the adults"!

Don't know exactly why...may be I liked that TV movie too much or for Tim Curry, this trailer just didn't give me enough goosebumps or excitements that it supposed to deliver or I was expecting.

I just came across the trailer today on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnCdOQsX5kc) and actually... If the writing is smart, and the ending is changed... This has a lot of potential to be better than the original. (Keep in mind that's not saying a lot considering how much I don't care for the original.)

I love the original and I'm really looking forward to seeing the new one.

I don't get bent out of shape when a movie is a remake. If it can bring something new and different to the table then I'm game.

However, the book is very long. The original left quite a bit out due to time constraints. I'm curious how they are going to make this work with a shorter running time. Will this movie be the start of a series? Will it only be 2 parts? Will they cram as much as they can into a 1.5 to 2 hour time space? Or will the movie be 3 hours or longer?::confused:: I'm curious. Hopefully I'm pleasantly surprised.

We shall see::wink:: Still very much looking forward to this!

Just re-watched the original after that trailer came out. Still holds up.

As for the new one... I dont like the look of him at all..looks more goofy than sinister. I know Pennywise didnt look scary at all but thats what made it work. Non scary costume with an excellent and creepy performance. This guy looks like they're trying to hard. The trailer looked good but that moment where he ran at the camera yelling was just unintentionally hilarious. I look forward to it..but not am jumping on the bandwagon that I see around the web.

I haven't even seen the original. (who the hell decided clowns would be scary?) New one don't look too bad though, I might give it a watch. Anyone think I should watch the original too just fer reference 'r is it not worth it?
