If your joke was funny in the first place it wouldn't have needed any smileys .

But since there was no humor to your joke, a little :D or a :p might have helped the cause some. How was I to know if you were trying (in vain) to be funny or if you are just a dumbass that voted twice in an hour without realizing it?
