I realized eventually that this was geared more to teens but it was sweet .

Really more like something from the 80's.

First rate performances by the late Philip Seymour Hoffmann (some eerie parallels concerning his character's recreation habits), Ethan Hawke, Marisa Tomei and Albert Finney. Two brothers are in deep financial straights and one comes up with an idea to improve this; mainly by robbing a "Mom and Pop" jewelry store which happens to belong to their Mom and Pop! It seems like a fool proof plan where no one will get hurt, but of course, Murphy's Law is in full effect and things continue to go downhill.
Really enjoy this...suspenseful as Hell and Marisa is stunningly beautiful, albeit fragile. If nothing else, the very first scene is very much an eyeopener! ****

Scream (2022)

Meh, it was ok. Saw a lot of continuity issues. Pretty much figured out who the killers were right away.

Mystery, 'who done it'. Mildly entertaining. Smoothly paced, nicely shot, lively acting. I guessed the murderer, it added up, but it's really more of the anyone could have done it till the last scene. I prefer a 'who done it' that eliminates suspects, and points to others, along the way.
