i love this movie, it's one of my all time favourites

Is this the one with Antonio "I'm too sexy" Banderas??? I think I saw it, but I don't remember it being good???

"Bloody Birthday"

Really crappy movie, obviously inspired by "village of the damned", that does nothing to explain anything whatsoever. Things just happens.

And the girl playing the goody big sister SUCKED!!!

Just finished watching

THE 13TH WARRIOR

Based on a old Norse saga , I enjoy this movie. It's the third time I have watched it.

Does anyone know of any good Viking movies???

You mean based on the Michael Crichton novel (The Eaters of the Dead) that's based on the epic poem Beowulf.

As for viking moves, try The Vikings (A Kirk Douglas classic) or the upcoming The Pathfinder (nothing to do with JF Cooper's novel)

i was going to suggest that but it doesnt have the slickness of the 13th warrior. a lot of folks dont appreciate the older classics after seeing something new so it's just a cautionary warning.

what he may want to check out is Beowulf & Grendel
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0402057/

i will say that 13th warrior is a pretty decent film adaptation of eaters of the dead..

The Vanishing (Spoorloos)
Brilliant film, a pleasure to watch every time. I don't hate the remake like some but it's just not the same. If you haven't seen it, do so.
