THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 ...Paul "The Rhino" Giamatti, Dane "Harry Osborn" DeHaan and Jamie "Electro" Foxx.
Will it be overkill, like Raimi's Spider-Man 3? Summer 2014 will answer.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1872181/

POMPEII ...Paul WS Anderson's latest. Looks decent.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1921064/

300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE ...sequel to the highly acclaimed 300.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1253863/

THE MONUMENTS MEN ...epic about historians and Nazis, made by George Clooney. With Clooney himself, Damon, Blanchett, Goodman and Bill Murray.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2177771/

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1742334/

VAMPIRE ACADEMY ...hotties as vampires, in a tale inspired from Blade and Underworld. Will it "suck"?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1686821/

ANTISOCIAL ...looks semi-decent. Headed to DVD this January.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2772092/

THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY ...Ben Stiller's take on an ordinary man's extraordinary fantasy, with a dash of comedy.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1170358/

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1335975/

MALEFICENT ...Sleeping Beauty's tale told from the vamp's point-of-view. Should be interesting, with Jolie looking delightfully wicked.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1587310/

NOAH ...Aronofsky's take on the timeless Biblical tale, with Russell Crowe in the title role and leading an all-star cast.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1959490/

Hmmm... I'm having flashbacks to the other American Godzilla... scary. This teaser still looks like the creators have no idea why Godzilla is popular. Here is a hint: its not the human element. But it is still early. We will see.

I have to disagree with you to a degree. Godzilla is more then just a big monster wreaking havoc. If you don't have characters to care about, then you're not going to care about the monster.

In the original movie, Godzilla was doing more then just property damage. He was terrorizing people who we actually cared about. The characters in the original were important as should they be in this new movie. Obviously the characters shouldn't be the forefront with Godzilla in the background kind of how Cloverfield was but that's only because how iconic Godzilla is.

Hopefully they won't mess it up. I think it looks awesome.

You may feel that way, and its fine, but I cannot name one single character from any Godzilla movie ever made. If I cared for any of them that wouldn't be the case. On the other hand I can name almost every monster without much thought. They weren't characters as much as they were placeholders in my opinion. Like the heroes in most pulp fiction stories. They exist so we can live through them. Something to make events unfold from a more understandable perspective. The kid, The mother or mother figure, The father or father figure and lastly the scientists / military to represent the government. Again, this is just my perspective. I am sure that others may have favorite human characters, but none of them ever mattered to me as anything more then me putting myself in their shoes.
