Erik by a mile

DrFrankensteinsGirl 11-01-2013 08:26 AM

Oh God I'm stuck between Frederick Frankenstein and Erik. On the one hand it's Frederick Frankenstein and we all now how much I love the men of the Frankenstein family. But then there's Erik and Lon Chaney's iconic performance as the Phantom. Umm...gosh V why do you make these choices so hard? lol I'm gonna have to shame myself and go with Erik, no one can beat Lon Chaney.

Erik (The Phantom of the Opera 1925)

The picture of Lon Chaney in that make up is just too iconic and memorable.

Tough choice. All did well with tough roles. I think Vlad might have been the toughest, which isn't generally isn't good for a character. A vlalid effort. I have to go with Erik (The Phantom of the Opera 1925).

I agree, and was aware, Carrie was rebelling against her entire abusive upbringing, not just reacting to the events of the night in question. Trust me, I know the power of teenage angst, I've been there. I consider it a given a teen would kill. It happens, but 99% of teens don't. But I wasn't estimating teenage angst and teen killing. I was talking about my assessment of the Carrie character portrayed in the film 'Carrie 76'. I didn't see the film portray a change in Carrie's character that would have lead her to kill innocents, but rather a more assertive young lady, willing to defend herself with her powers, but still with a solid conscience and empathy. I certainly understand why some would disagree; it's a rather subjective thing to assess.

Definitely Erik

Erik the Phantom - 5 (Anthropophagus, DrFrankensteinsGirl, realdealblues, Sculpt, The Villain)
Count Dracula/Vlad the Impaler - 1
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein - 0

Erik spooks all opposition out and secures a rather easy win.
