Yesterday, I picked up:

- There Will Be Blood (2-Disc SE)
- No Country for Old Men

...and today, out of nowhere, my girlfriend got me:

- Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2-Disc SE)

I think it's safe to say 2 different things right now:

1) I own the three best movies of 2007.
2) I have the coolest girlfriend...ever.

Hot. I like the Gogo touch.

...

Yesterday my boyfriend was in a spending mood (which always works well for me)... We just recently acquired:

Television
Lost Season 1
Battlestar Galactica Season 3
Project Runway Season 3
Frisky Dingo Season 1

Movies
Severance

For those of you who haven't seen Severance, it was definitely in my Top Movies for 2007. Definitely check it out.

...

We've been doing a bit of a Project Runway marathon this weekend... Good way to spend a nice, relaxing weekend.

Ooo, it definitely was spectacular - the right balance of horror homage and parody with a nice icing of over-the-top guts and gore.

Elvis_Christ 04-13-2008 07:56 PM

Severance fuckin' sucks! One of the worst films I've seen period. Everything about it is total shit.

I may do the same...though I'm kind of running low in funds, so I might wait until Thursday when I get paid.

Kinda surprised you liked it Posh, doesn't really seem your style - too happy]. That said, its not my style either and I loved the hell out of it...heh.

I like happy movies! Just not as much as others. Juno was great, and I liked it because it was consistently funny throughout, not boring with a few haha's thrown in like most comedies nowadays.

Geddy 04-15-2008 12:59 PM

Just got back from the book store and picked up:
-Crime And Punishment By: Fyodor Dostoevsky.
-War Of The Worlds By: H.G Wells.
-The Island Of Dr Moreau By: H.G Wells.
-1984 By: George Orwell.

Posher778 04-15-2008 01:08 PM

As promised:

Juno 2 disc SE

*really satisfied with the special features on this one, unlike a certain best picture winner i know of.

fortunato 04-17-2008 07:13 PM

twin falls idaho

urgeok2 04-18-2008 06:00 PM

- heroes - season 1 (it was cheap)
- mr magoriums wonder emporium (it was free)
- the shadow walkers
- Rise - Blood Hunter

The_Return 04-18-2008 06:08 PM

- Class of 1984
- The Quiet Earth

This new Anchor Bay "Cult Cinema Collection" line is pretty sweet....just fancy new packaging on old releases, but some of these movies were getting hard to find. I'll be picking up more of these for sure - C.H.U.D. and The Long Good Friday are probably next on the list.

roshiq 04-19-2008 02:42 AM

Dexter: The First Season

Here this series haven't been shown on the TV yet. But as I read some positive reviews on different sites on the net so I don't hesitate to buy this one as my first ever collection of a TV series box set.
