well you can't wait more from ol' Ozzy, he is not the better heavy metal singer but
he make great albums (even alone). For me Sabbath with Dio and with Ozzy were like two differnt groups.

Geddy 01-13-2008 06:54 AM

Alice Cooper - Billion Dollar Babies and Killer.
The Clash - London Calling.

CrimsonFiend138 01-13-2008 08:05 AM

If his new songs are any indication if I would even think of listening to the new album I bet my ears would bleed . It sounds like any other new crap pretty much. Ozzy definately isn't the greatest heavy metal singer I just love Sabbath in general.

I never liked anything I heard from Alice Cooper until I heard Billion Dollar Babies.

I've been hearing alot about that Dimmur...something are they one of those european black metal bands i bet?

CrimsonFiend138 01-16-2008 04:37 PM

Cat Power, Jukebox. The sequel to her earlier, and excellent, The Covers Record. Not as good as that one, Jukebox has it moments, too.

it's definitely an extremely genuine and emotionally charged movie.
i don't blame you for crying (plus the second song is the one where he belts it out like crazy, right? i got goosebumps during that part).

CrimsonFiend138 02-29-2008 04:07 PM

Stadium Arcadium-Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I thought they were over-rated and I didn't think Keidis was a good singer but after this CD(which I know is alot different from their earlier stuff) has made me a fan...well Stadium Arcadium anyway.

David Bowie - Heathen

I've decided that David Bowie is the best musical artist EVER. Putting out albums for over 40 years and they are consistently excellent.

Vampire Weekend - Vampire Weekend

For the past couple days I've been listening to Zombie (White & Rob) in the car. It's funny because his albums seem to progress like horror films. The albums start raw and powerful and then transition into something more polished and well plotted. There's some obscure stuff thrown in there with Super Sexy Swingin' Sounds and then as Rob goes solo he utilizes more modern techniques but still adds his own style. With Educated horses Zombie seems to try and get back to his roots, almost an homage to his own older material. Maybe I'm just crazy though. I like the music, last one I listened to was Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie doing Feed my Frankenstein.

Elvis_Christ 03-28-2008 10:29 PM

I think Rob Zombie's music has gotten worse as it progresses... La Sexorcisto was amazing but its downhill from there IMO.
