Bernaise

bloodrayne 08-11-2006 04:47 AM

Umm...I wanna do another one...

Sooo...Can we just say Bearnaise for Demon Seed?...I mean, he wouldn't eat EITHER, cuz he's extremely picky and has a very limited view on what is considered 'pallatable'....But, he'd go along with me :)

Vodstok 08-11-2006 04:52 AM

I htink once it has sat on a particular challenge for 12+ hours, it has garnered all the votes it is gonna get, so cvlearly, bernaise is the winner here.

How about some pork products?

Bacon

Vs.

Bacon

http://aggiemeat.tamu.edu/judging/id/103P.jpg

In the interest of avoiding a bitch-fest between canadians and americans over canadian and american bacon, the top one is "belly bacon" and the lower is "back Bacon"

bloodrayne 08-11-2006 04:54 AM

Dude...TOTALLY gotta go with bacon here...No contest :D

*stomache growls*

lol...I meant the first bacon :D..The REAL bacon

Vodstok 08-11-2006 04:54 AM

Wow, i totally didnt see this response coming :)

hammerfan 08-11-2006 05:16 AM

Crispy bacon for me! The crispier the better!

Dude Guadalupe 08-11-2006 05:20 AM

We all know the REAL bacon is Kevin Bacon........ok not really but he was cool in Stir Of Echos.

Oh yeah I vote for bacon not HAM.

Vodstok 08-11-2006 06:48 AM

Its not really ham either. Ham comes from pig ass, while back bacon is from the... Back. *cough*

(crickets chirp)

Vodstok 08-11-2006 07:40 AM

Oh Beautiful for Bacon skies,
For amber waves of Bacon....
For purple bacon's Majesty,
Above the fruited bacon

America, America, god shed his BAcon on thee
And crown thy good with Bacon, from sea to shining sea!

I will count Austin's response as a vote. Wow, America beats Canada, 6-0....

I guess Chuck Heston went up there and pistol whipped some piggies.

How about some "tasty but crappy food"

Vs.

Chili Dog

http://www.chilidogrecipe.com/images...recipe_med.gif

bloodrayne 08-11-2006 08:15 AM

Oh wow...That's really difficult...

Umm...

Guess I'll go with the chili dog...If it's made with Cincinnati-style chili :)

hammerfan 08-11-2006 08:19 AM

If you're talking about a Philly cheesesteak, I'm in. If not, I'll go with the chili dog.

Phalanx 08-11-2006 08:21 AM

Steak and cheese...I mean, assuming I made it.

AUSTIN316426808 08-11-2006 08:21 AM

Steak

There's only one food on the planet that I might put in front of steak and it sure aint a chili dog.

What might that be?

Not philly cheese steak, but steak and cheese, subtle differences

Chili dog, then.

Vodstok 08-11-2006 08:49 AM

2-3, the dog has the lead.

Miss Olivia 08-11-2006 10:29 AM

Chili dog.
With mustard.

Bean Sprouts

Vs.

Alafalfa Sprtouts

http://www.freshdirect.com/media/ima.../spt_alf_z.jpg

crabapple 08-14-2006 08:09 AM

Bean sprouts. Tough one but that's what I'd pick. Specially if they're stir-fried into some noodle dish.

Phalanx 08-14-2006 08:11 AM

Shit...that's a hard one...I love them both.
However, I have to go with bean sprouts on account of versatility.
Alfalfas are excellent for salads and cool dishes, juices and the like, but beansprouts work wonders in both hot AND cold.
As long as you get them fresh that is...the substandard browned air exposed ones some stores wanna push on you, ridiculous.

Ok, yeah...in short, I vote beansprouts.

Vodstok 08-14-2006 08:14 AM

I have a question...

Is veal "Cow Sprouts"?

newb 08-14-2006 09:24 AM
