They seemed to cut away at a few intense moments and it really didn't hurt the film at all. Especially one particular "why so serious" moment.

As far as the Flanders thing, I never thought about it but he indeedily does!

And I have a poser for all who have already seen TDK...

(***POSSIBLE GIGANTIC SPOILERS AHEAD***)

Whats the deal on Harvey Dent? I mean the way he landed, body all twisted up and limbs thrown, neck twisted...for all accounts dead, as they showed...followed by the funeral/memorial.

So is he really dead? Or is Two-Face a possibility for Batman 3?

Dante'sInferno 07-22-2008 08:56 PM

HUGE SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!

I think Harvey is dead. That's why they had the memorial and they didn't want the others to know what had become of him.I think that Two-face is alive though.Sure he was in alot of pain when he fell, but he could have survived out of sheer anger. He was very angry.I don't think he's dead.I think Nolan just wanted us to speculate, untill the 3rd movie is announced and goes in production.I wish Heath hadn't died though.:(
The Joker was bad-ass.Now he probably won't ever be acted the same.

END SPOILER..

Jim at IGN raises several interesting noteworthy points.

This movie shows what an incredible tragedy heath ledger dying was. There were parts where he made me feel physically threatened.

He was brilliantly and convincingly psychotic. Everything blended together beautifully. the "Everybody is basically good" scene with the ferries was great, and not ham fisted and annoying like the "you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us" scene from spiderman.

All that aside, i loved the pencil trick. I also loved "I'm the guy who kills the bus driver."

"The bus driver?" *CRASH*
