Okay - as I tried to say in an earlier post but kafuffled me words!! - cant we have some kind of permanent notice - a warning for children who may frequent this forum. Us grown ups (mature people - not necessarily old fogeys!) do have a responsibility to protect people on here as was pretty obvious from the banning of *you know who*, etc..

The fear was, if we put up a warning it may scare people away - but we dont necessarily have to encourage the grassing up of potential abusers - just a permanent message like:

If you have your profile set to receive Private Messaging, please understand that you will receive messages from anyone - nice people and not so nice people. If you require instructions on how to ignore or block someone, please contact the moderators.
We would like to think you come here for enjoyment and not to have somebody hurt you in anyway, so please stay vigilant.

It's just a suggestion but I do feel a little permanent note would be beneficial and the right thing to do!!!

They said they where going to add a note to one of the stickys all ready....

Nicely said, I want to be a detective on here, these people make me sick. If I was able to get their IP, I would deff. give an IP ban, and then contact law enforcement. We will eventually end up seeing them on "How to catch a predator".

The conversations started off really well, basically about work and stuff...then
just out of the blue he asked if he could send me something..he said he wanted to show me a pic..so i allowed him and shut dowm anit-virus.

The dumbest part when was my ex at the time came in and called trip out on the pic.. some noOb members at the time thought it was funny as fuck.
Some actually accused me of liking what i saw...

and this was the 1st time ever i let ppl see the other side of my personality.

That was the last time i had ever spoken to anybody on msn besides my own circle of freinds in NZ.

Yeah and while we're add it let's tell people not to drink drain cleaner, to look both ways before crossing the street, and not to swim after you eat for two hours. Seriously, anybody who deep down doesn't know that this crap happens on the internet or that everybody on the internet isn't nice... isn't using it. Parents should monitor their kids and adults young or old should be mature enough to deal with it.
