I meant to say we caught the end of the third movie before we realized it. And yep, they were in the wrong case, and the discs themselves were labelled wrong. But the menu was right, we just weren't paying attention when we hit play. I was afraid at first we had gotten two copies of the same film, but they are all there.

I've been meaning to get back to that show, I watched the first series on tv, then the first few episodes of the second, then just didn't watch tv for a few years, I really should get it, it's a great show, or was at the beggining, I don't know if it stayed afloat after series one.

I agree, Six Feet Under is an excellent series. The finale was incredible, and I doubt it will ever be topped. I have the last three seasons, just been neglecting to pick up the first two considering they are fullscreen releases, and there has been debate on whether or not widescreen copies exist and will be released in the future.

I picked up two Cult Classic Film Series releases from Anchor Bay...
The Class of 1984 & Night of the Living Dorks.

For those wondering, they are the same old DVD releases, complete with same transfers and extras... only with new vintage-styled slipcases. Very pretty stuff.

No Country For Old Men (2007)

Really dissapointing DVD release, but I couldn't have lived with myself knowing it was out and I didn't own it.

Why is it dissapointing?

It was Best Picture of the year...literally...and all it has in the way of special features is three skimpy featurettes of cat-kissing-coen-ass for a grand total of 40 minutes.

I was hoping for more in the way of behind-the-scenes insight, and maybe even a commentary (though one from the Coens would not be likely).

That said, the picture and sound are gorgeous, so its worth a purchase.

Of course i'll be buying it, but I looked it up, and you're right. That's very irritating that they slacked off so much on that.

I actually don't think there'll be one...at least not anytime soon. The Coen brothers have made it perfectly clear that they are not interested in special features, and most of their DVD releases are pretty bare-bones.

We'll see, though.
