From watching the trailer it's a whole different storyline and set of events.
From the look of it, this kind of plot would be more true to something out of 2000AD.

Loved the SUPERMAN trailer, pretty unusual for a superhero movie but that's keeping my hopes high for it. As Mr. Nolan is somehow attached with the project, so may be they have been up for a creating an unique DC Universe where the rest JLA members eventually fit into...particularly BATMAN!
