I thought it was really good. One of my few favorite zombie movies.

Let’s see, which zombie movies do I actually like?

Dawn of the Dead (remake)
Return of the Living Dead 1 & 2
28 Weeks Later
World War Z
Day of the Dead (2008)

That might be it.

Probably the best example of Murrayfying is in Caddy Shack... just really heavy humor, but also the Murray personality, where he's kind of playing himself, like in Ghostbusters. That kind of force can overshadow character development and other revelatory aspects of other actors emotions and plot points.

I think in Groundhog Day Murray is funny, but he keeps it within the character and doesn't overshadow important story aspects.

So in What about Bob... Could the corn eating scene count as Murryfying?

ie, not like Johnny Cash's version of Hurt, but just a good cover.

Yep, I like all those, although I never saw Return of the Living Dead Part II and Day of the Dead (2008).

Didn't you like Night of the Living Dead 68, Dawn of the Dead 78, Day of the Dead 85 and Zombie 79?
