Absolutely. In fact, horror is my second favorite genre, classics being my first. I watch a horror movie peobably once out of every ten movies I watch.

And I didn't mean it in a mean way...I was just curious.

Not bad. Far from Argento's best work, but I enjoyed it. Doesnt do a bad job capturing the Hitchcock style, even though some of the in-jokes were groan inducing...

I wouldn't necessarily highly reccomend either of these, but they also weren't a bad use of time. 'Bathgate' has an excellent cast, and 'Friends' was acted very well, most especially by Frances McDormand.

I actually hired this to see how the director of dog soldiers would go with a different style of film...see, I never got into dog soldiers, I had my theory why a lot of people did and I didn't, and set out to see for myself if I was right.
Barely watchable...maybe a little better than the abovementioned film, but pretty bad. Reminded me in parts, of the silent hill movie.
Is this the best the maker of the supposedly great dog soldiers can do?
Ah well, my theory has always been that the only reason people liked that was the sheer lack of ANY werewolf films coming out, let alone good ones, taking what little in the genre was thrown at them with a smile...this movie "boo" makes me almost certain I was right about DS not really being all that great all along...the guy can't make a good movie for shit IMO.
More poor acting, very cheap feel.
I suppose if you're a fan of splatter, you might enjoy it...but even that gets a little stupidly excessive, to the point it's laughable.

Ah well, got no-one to blame but myself, I hired them I suppose.

The Skulls

It was slightly more interesting than I thought it was gonna be but that was more because of the subject matter than the plot or screenplay. It was okay, but not great. Very little gore and a little bit confusing in terms of keeping track of who's a good guy and who's a bad guy. Meh, it was alright...

I haven't been watching too many movies lately because I am trying to caught up on Lost Season 2 before the 3rd season starts. I am about halfway through season 2 right now. That show is awesome.

Isn't it from the Producer of Dog Soldiers, not the Director? From someone who made DS and The Descent, a film like this would be career-ruining.

8 down below. surprisingly pretty good for a disney flick . more in the vein of Old yeller than most disney movies. Paul Walker was probably the best actor in it, and the scary thing is, that isnt saying everyone else sucked, he was actually GOOD. didnt comeoff as the stupid pretty boy who got the actin gjob like the Fast and the Furious, he seems to have grown up and taken some acting lessons.

Plus, you gotta love well-trained Huskies. Great dogs :)
