Half of every preppie bastard that goes to see horror movies nowadays doesn't know who ash is, it will just be like who is this guy, then they research it and find out about "The Evil Dead" and congratulations, it will gain a following like The nightmare on elm street and friday the 13th movies did after Freddy vs. Jason came out. Plus Bruce Campbell has already said several times that he will not ressurect ash's character; plus, Ash's character is owned by a different production company than freddy and jason, so much paperwork would be involved it would be unbarable. Just thought I'd hop in on that.
