Indeed, as Bloofer Lady said, thank you for the time and effort! Loving every stage of the tournament.

You both are most welcome.

I have had a blast organising & conducting this project as well. Thanks for all the wonderful support.

Jake.Ashworth 07-10-2017 10:25 AM

Damn, hardest one yet. 90 had me at first because, Kevin Bacon...

But alas, my vote goes to 84, I am a diehard Toxie fan.

hammerfan 07-10-2017 10:27 AM

You know I always love your tournaments, V! And, I do appreciate all the work that goes into them! Thank you!!!

This is a tough one! But, I gotta go with 1984.

MichaelMyers 07-10-2017 10:42 AM

1984

roshiq 07-10-2017 11:28 AM

2006

Bloof 07-10-2017 12:23 PM

1984

Repo'd 07-10-2017 12:50 PM

Very tough choice. I'm casting my vote for 2006 for three reasons.
Bug, Behind The Mask and The Host.
For me these are three of the best films of the last ten years or so, and I consider Bug and The Host to be among the top fright films of all time. Add to that Hatchet and a few others...
2006, please.

Sorry Freddy! ::love::

Eww, no, that year spawned the Hills Have Eyes remake... Repo how could you? Jason, Company of Wolves, and Gremlins? 1984 no question!

(Feel free to ignore my vote since I'm chiming in so late in the game. lol)

The Villain 07-10-2017 05:38 PM

84

Sculpt 07-10-2017 09:27 PM

Definitely 1990!

What's wrong with you people clicking on the sparse 80's bait?!

1990 has:

Misery!
Jacob's Ladder!
Arachnophobia!
It!
Exorcist III!
(i'll throw in Tremors & Nightbreed)!

84 only gots Elm St & Toxie. Gremlins is overrated. 2006 only has Host, Vernon, Slither & Bug. You people need to re-vote. ::big grin::

Jake.Ashworth 07-12-2017 07:08 AM

Another hard one, at least until I saw Re-Animator. 1985 all day.

newb 07-12-2017 09:45 AM

3 of my favs of all time

Re-Animator
Fright Night
Return of the Living Dead

1985

Repo'd 07-12-2017 11:06 AM

LOL! 1985 was one of the best of my years! That's when we found out, in just just 5 years, we would have Roiffalo!

This is a tough one... between 2007 and 1985

2007..................................1985
Vacancy.......................Fright Night
Dead Silence.......................Day of the Dead
Disturbia.......................Re-Animator
I Am Legend.......................Vampire Hunter D
The Mist.......................The Return of the Living Dead
Inside.......................Lifeforce
28 Weeks Later.......................Demons
Funny Games remake.......................Phenomena/Creepers
Sweeney Todd.......................The Stuff
Planet Terror & Death Proof...............Silver Bullet
Paranormal Activity.......................
REC.......................

mmmm.... really close here. Some good creative films, most all with some flaws. 85 not quite the volume of 07. I think the best film is Fright Night. I'm going to give it to 85 for greater and freer creative exuberance.

_____V_____ 07-13-2017 07:26 AM

Have to go with 1965

Jake.Ashworth 07-13-2017 08:10 AM

My vote goes 65

Repo'd 07-13-2017 09:05 AM

This is as tough a choice as I've had to make so far.

I really feel like this one is completely equal. Since I can't vote for both I think it's best if I abstain. I have NO idea how I would even choose between these years.
