Videodrome
|
It appears we have a surprise winner (in that the results dramtically shifted from one to another)! Here were the results:
Videodrome: 6 (ntillemans, V, realdealblues, Anthropophagus, cheebacheeba, and roshiq) Twilight Zone: The Movie: 1 (MichaelMyers) The Stuff: 4 (natedog722, The Villain, horrorfangirl66, and tiberius) Thus, Videodrome came out of nowhere for the win. What a comeback! I have never seen Twilight Zone: The Movie, but some really good directors directed segments of the film. I also have never seen Videodrome, but I heard it was really good (in fact, i just added it to my dvd queue for Netflix, so I should watch it soon). I probably would have voted for The Stuff because it was a really good movie, which both satired consumerism in the 1980s and parodied The Blob at the same time. This film is not in any way to be taken seriously, this is part of the charm. I'm not sure if it is better than Videodrome because I have not seen it, but it was still really good nonetheless. |
Supernatural Part I: Choose one film. The first to five wins!

Tough...two of my favorite films pitted again.
Poltergeist, by a whisker. |
Gotta go with Demons.

Poltergeist is on a different plane from those. Imagine the genius of Steven Spielberg producing a Toby Hopper film?
Did any really really like Amityville II: The Possession? Got to give Demons extra credit for having Rick Springfield's 'Walking on the Edge' (great song, no radio play) on the soundtrack, with Idol's 'White Wedding'. You can't make this stuff up. ** by the way, you can watch the full movie: NIGHT OF THE COMMET on youtube free. |
Demons, let's hope it can stage a comeback.

tough call...but i'll go with Poltergeist, although I loved Amityville 2!!!!!
