But you know they'll go for Bush because it'll fill the seats... for a while.

Well, it's almost impossible to pass up on that kind of talent and they could always trade Davis for an extra pick. They went 8-8 last year without a line so maybe Capers can pull it off with a couple late picks and free agents.

Just like Ricky filled the SuperDome for half a season.

Fire Mariucci then announce Garcia the starter and keep McMillan?(or whatever his name is)

WTF is wrong with that franchise!

[B]I think it should be against the law to "support" a football team that is not nearest to the place of your actual birth.

In fact, let's go far enough to make all teams consist of players born within that town or city.

Easy to say when you live in close proximity of a Pro team.. Of course I am Husker fan living in Omaha. But we dont have a pro team of any sort within 200 miles (KC) and there is no fucking way I am going to cheer on the Royals or the Chiefs. I had to venture a little further for my teams (Steelers, St L Cards and the Celtics). Nice to see there are other Horror fans out there that appreciate sports though..!

I think we can agree that the Viks hopes all lay on how they play when a game rolls around that they don't get 4 or 5 turnovers.

If the Vikings were 7-5 and the Bears were 8-4, that's 1 game back, not two. I don't know who taught you to figure out standings, but you should ask for a refund.

8-4
7-5

That's a 1 game difference dude. Plus, like I said we play the Bears the last week, so that right there would be our chance to even it up. Then it'd go to a tiebreaker for the division (Which I don't know who would win. If the Vikes won game 17 to force the tie, they'd each have a head to head win against each other so I think it'd go to divisional record, which still remains to be determined.)

There's still work to be done, but you guys just wait... The Vikes will be around come playoff time. (Or at the very least, game 17 will be for the division. We may win, we may not, but we'll make it interesting.)

So long as you're not into simply supporting the "best" team in the land (i.e. the one that always wins and lives about 500 miles away)... that's all fine!

You're right, my bad that's baseball and basketball that count losses. It's cool dude, I think you're confidence is admirable, I see that from almost every post of yours that you've got your heart set on that last game being a tie break so I'll just let it go.

Amen to this thread. Especially since I am an Eagles fan. It is a shame since he is an excellent athelete. But I hate the fact that it is because we don't have TO that we are doing shitty. When he was around we were still doing shitty this season.
