Zombies taking over the world...didn't that already happen??

Anyway,I would fortify a movie theater after raiding the local gun shop.

They didn't take over the world so much as take over Washington DC.

Well, a playing field is flat. It doesn't encapsulate everything that the Goddess is. The Goddess would be the field, but She would also be God and the Devil, or at least look at Her as their Mother. Even more, She's not only the encapsulation, but the space between and the space around and around and around...then we get the Spiral. Never beginning. Never ending.

The Goddess sounds like a badass. Do you pray to her, or light candles or what?

All I know about religion is once a week I eat a cookie and drink wine.

...Oh, and I kneel a lot. Yeah... do a lot of that.

Notre Dame came back from 21 in the 4th, they still lost in ot though. After that whole 0 for 3 interception for a touchdown thing Brady Quinn was on fire the whole second half...yada yada yada, great game.

Late reaction...but I go to school with a kid named Brady Quinn. Its still weird to hear his name when discussing football.

Yeah, She is a bad ass, and yes I do pray to Her. The praying can be as generic as a simple good morning prayer, or as complex as a spell. I feel a great connection with the Goddess.

Interesting info Haunted, I love learning about the supernatural(is that an accurate description?).

Haunted 09-19-2005 04:29 AM

It totally depends on your perspective. For me, nothing can be supernatural, because I don't believe there's anything outside or higher than "NATURE." Nature encompasses everything. That's what the Goddess is.

Now some people believe that there is a "normal" or "natural" world full of rules that, to be frank, we made up. Then in their viewing the is a sort of an unnatural paranatural (para= beyond) world. This, I would wager, is the typical view of most people.

Witches tend to see everything as natural, and Dianic Witches tend to see that everything is the Goddess and of the Goddess. That's natural for us.

The link I listed for IA75, is a shorter description of my Goddess- the Goddess that I believe is SUPREME. (That's called henotheism, by the way... when you believe one Goddess or god is supreme over all others).

**Question re-added for public information, although deemed impossible to answer, by the ever informative Haunted**

For those of you that would like to witness the completely innapropriote, and incendiary "question" that lead to the "conversation" to follow, it went a little something like THIS:

But why GoddESS specifically? I mean, you say that you believe in the whole "nature" thing, right? However, the idea of gender as we perceive it is far preceeded by nature, is it not? So therefore, putting a gender on this entity would seem like a contradiction to your lifestyle, and views on your own perception of reality that you'vr mentioned.
Unless of course you were talking about the figure some referr to as "mother nature", however, this is another "man made" concept, which also conflicts with the points you've made about your beliefs.
I admit, I'm being a nitpicker, but when I spot inconsistancies, I want to understand why, can you explain this all to me?

Haunted 09-19-2005 07:21 AM

You're not being a nittpicker, you're being an asshole. (Note to moderators: I didn't say that B WAS an asshole. I said he was BEING an asshole)

I'm not saying that to you BECAUSE you're questioning my beliefs. I'm saying it because of WHY you're questioning me. You're doing it, to be a jerk to me. So I'm going to answer your fucking question.

It's my beliefs, and I can believe whatever I want to believe. If I want to believe the world was made by the Goddess, then I can do that.

I don't know where you get believing that I should justify myself to you. It's none of your fucking business. You're just fucking around, trying to make me look stupid (a feat you can't possibly achieve). So ultimately, I'm not getting into a thealogical (not theological) discussion with you, because I can't get in that type scenario using monosyllables to make sure that YOU understand what I'm saying.

Now go to hell.

[To the rest of the forum: If you want the answer to this question, tell me and I will do my very best to explain it. Keep in mind, though, I've only been holding these beliefs for 11 years, and I haven't garnered as much wisdom as I will hopefully. Email, don't pm]

[Moderators: Ban me if you want, but please don't expect me to put up with this bullshit]
