THE WAILING (2016). Korean film that looks great and has some decent scares, but such doofuses in it and way too many plot twists. Worth seeing, but really not more than once. **1/2

WHAT WE DO ON THE SHADOWS (2016). Pretty funny/scary movie of three flatmates who happen to be vampires. We enjoyed this quite bit and recommend it. ***1/2

I enjoyed that one as well. They could have overdone the vampire cliches and made a mess of it but they did it just right.
