Thought I'd strike while the iron was still a little warm...

I think I hit the jackpot

" They want to see heads flying off, and they want it RIGHT NOW. "

The best movie for heads (& other body parts)flying off is "Dead Alive". The absolute best for sheer gore.

TRICK 2019

A masked killer nicknamed "Trick" seems to defy all odds and returns every Halloween to slice and dice his victims. Some familiar faces and while it was fairly enjoyable, i found the ending a let-down.

Grease - there's some entertaining scenes, but mostly not, good music.
Beasts of No Nation - interesting and informative, but not that enjoyable
Dolemite Is My Name - more informative than funny
Mudbound - slow, a bit drearily realistic, but a nice slice of life in that time period
Between Two Ferns: The Movie - saw part of this. I like the actual interviews, but pretty much nothing else.
The Unknown Known - doc on Donald rumsfeld. I love DR, but this didn't dig deep enough. It's not near as entertaining or deep as Fog of War. DR needs to be interviewed again.
Jimi Hendrix - you get closer to having an idea who he was personally, but that's not very close at all. I wonder if this is as close as it gets? Some very good concert footage though.
Tucker and Dale vs. Evil - enjoyable characters, but not that funny really.
The Cloverfield Paradox - fairly entertaining sci-fi, but just OK.

Maybe books are more your thing.

Pacino was excellent as Jimmy Hoffa.
