Hell yeah, great flick.

I haven't, however, seen either of the others, so I'm happy to hear V's recommendations!

PSP Games
Loco Roco (Insane trip of a game...)
Medieval - Ressurection - I remember the old ps1 ones were pretty good.

Phalanx 07-28-2007 01:29 AM

Gave the medieval one on psp back, simply because it was a remake of the first one I'd played through some years ago.
Got KILLZONE on ps2 again - since work made me play the PSP spin-off title, it kind've evoked some interest.

DVDS

Seen: The Dudesons, Beerfest, Borat...
...and this great indian/english movie called Kal Ho Naa Ho that came (as per usual) packaged with a couple of other random indian flicks. Even if you're not into indian films, I'd suggest Kal Ho Naa Ho to just about anyone...it's great.

Not Seen: April Fools Day, The Departed, The Ant Bully, Into the Perilous Night - PTU, Savouring the world, volume 2: Spain & France, and some MTV collection of hits that won awards and all that...

A whooooole lotta tapes. The local Hollywood Video store was selling off all their VHS movies, everything was a buck, and I couldn't resist that so I went in and got all kinds of stuff. Mostly horror films, some Disney stuff, different things. Very nice for a bargain-loving VHS fan like myself.

The Prophecy 2

Serenity? It's pretty rad, especially if science fiction is your cup-o-tea.
Some of it, for me, was a little too much, but overall the film was pretty bad-ass.

Panic in Year Zero / Last Man on Earth

Vincent Price is brilliant as ever.

Ray Milland is always a pleasure to watch (Columbo appearances, Frogs, Buried Alive, the Attic), so Panic should be interesting as well.

I just saw that movie again. It was quite awful. Tom Savini's exhibit. No atmosphere of any kind. Heavy-handed. A cash cow.
