Interesting. Quite slow though. Competent. Brought a bit of atmosphere to the table, and "ok" storyline/lore, some interesting effects. |

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019)

The nostalgia factor is is HIGH of course but I’m not gonna lie, I giggle and got very excited every time a new story title would scroll across the screen, giddy in anticipation for how it would be represented. I thought that the individual stories were well done and actually pretty creepy for a PG-13 horror movie! There was only one that I thought they messed up on a little but it is what it is. I still wish it was just a straight up anthology without the wraparound story but, hey, this movie isn’t FOR me. It’s for YA fledgling horror fans who are going to watch this and love it. |

Saint Bernard, 2013. 7/10
Director: Gabriel Bartalos  This film was in the same realm as The Rambler and The Oregonian by Calvin Reeder so if you saw any of those films you'll know what I mean. I was going to blind buy but I rented. I don't think I'd watch this again although it had some really mental scenes. |
