Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019)

The nostalgia factor is is HIGH of course but I’m not gonna lie, I giggle and got very excited every time a new story title would scroll across the screen, giddy in anticipation for how it would be represented. I thought that the individual stories were well done and actually pretty creepy for a PG-13 horror movie! There was only one that I thought they messed up on a little but it is what it is. I still wish it was just a straight up anthology without the wraparound story but, hey, this movie isn’t FOR me. It’s for YA fledgling horror fans who are going to watch this and love it. |
