I love how the whole time it makes you wonder if the man is the demiurge or is everyone just going crazy because of the situation. Even though they milked it the whole movie til the end, it works. I love movies where the characters snap one by one. That never gets old. I'd give it a 9 but that's just me.

I just saw Evil Ed.

It wasn't my thing at all. The main character annoyed me so much I couldn't finish it. I can't put my finger on it, if it was the bad plot, bad acting or the main character's voice which was so annoying that made me turn it off. If you like really cheesy movies, you could possibly like it but it just didn't do it for me. I'd say 2 out of 10 for me. I didn't give it a 1 or 0 because there surely exists worse.

“Childs Play” 2019 6/10

Nice kills, weak story.

“Annabelle: Comes Home” 5/10

Yet another horror director who completely lacks creativity. ::sad::

While I normally don't follow this path, highly recommend You watch the featurette BEFORE the film as it opens more avenues. Wondered why color was added and what sounded like actors voices (wife and I were sure we heard Alan Rickman and Sean Connery) along with reinactments. Then after the making of, it all made sense and plenty of kudos to Jackson and all of his crew for what must have been an incredible amount of work and for such fine results. You really grow to care for the young men in here (many no more than teenagers) and shudder at the awful things they had to endure. *****

Godzilla King of the Monsters (2019)
5/10

Visually stunning with some interesting concepts, but the story theme was not fleshed out, nor integrated into the lives of the characters, nor integrated into all the action. The motivations of the main character, Dr. Emma Russell, played by Vera Farmiga, were stated, but was still essentially baffling.
