by the way....the only thing I can say I hated about this movie was the new Mother Firefly. Leslie Easterbrook didn't do her justice.

I don't know if it was Night Gallery or Twilight Zone, but there was one episode where this old lady was getting phone calls from her dead husband and her nephew or something would not believe her.......so finally he drove to the cemetary and at her husbands grave, the phone line had fallen down and was going into the ground.....That one freaked me out as a tyke.

Just saw The Devil's Rejects... I liked the original but this one surpasses it in every aspect. An 8.5/10.

The_Return 07-22-2005 03:12 PM

The Blair Witch Project

Everytime I watch this, I see it differently. The 1st time, I was only 8-9 and it scared the living hell outta me. The second time was last summer, and I was bored most of the way through, but still terrified at the end. This time, I loved it from begining to end. It didnt scare me this time, but still gave me a bit of an uneasy feeling near the end....incredible tension. One of my favourite horror movies.

The_Return 07-22-2005 05:39 PM

Reservoir Dogs

It was OK, but I wasnt really impressed. Worth watching, but nothing spectacular.

6.5/10

slasherman 07-22-2005 05:42 PM

"Batman Begins".....Number 3 is still my favorite..

The_Return 07-22-2005 07:16 PM

Hellraiser

Ive been waiting to see this for quite awhile, and I wasnt very disapointed. I was hoping the cenobytes [sp?] would have had more screen time....without them, it's Little Shop of Horrors with a dead guy instead of a giant plant:p

7.5/10

ChEEbA 07-22-2005 08:01 PM

Sin City last night.
Wow, on so many levels. I've never read the comics much so I don't know if it compares - visually it sure did. The storylines were just so damn gritty...fucking awesome.
Marv owned the film.
I think we've found the director of any "Max Payne" film that should ever come out, honestly I do...

ItsAlive75 07-22-2005 08:13 PM

Harold and Kumar go to White Castle

Funny.

Good observation.....most def a Max Payne feel....could even use Mickey Roarke as Max.

Actually, I was thinking the same thing, 'cept maybe the guy in the second story arc?
Uh...was it Dwight? Either way, the barmaids boyfriend, that guy. I think he looks more the part, and sounds more the part. Hell, he even used multiple guns simultaneously...there you have it.

Honestly, the atmosphere of sin city was just incredible...I couldn't look away from it, and at times I just sat there thinking "how fucked up...". It was great. Excellent score too.

LOL.

You´re actually right about that. It`s just more gross and without humor.

The Vincent Price one, I assume? Only VP movie I have that I didnt like enough to watch it more than once. I thought it was really boring, although the ending was pretty good, Ill admit. Id give it 5/10, personally.

jenna26 07-23-2005 07:38 PM

Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid  Would have liked it better if all of the annoying people had been eaten. But alas....:D

The Devil's Rejects

Awe Fuckin Some

Acting was good, music was cool, new characters were cool and of course Otis,Spaulding and Baby were still cool and funny as hell(and needless to say Sheri Moon was hotter than the Sahara).

To say Mother Firefly was a disappointment is being a bit picky imo but I just think she coulda been better, I had no problem with her lines it was the acting, she wasn't as believable as the other Fireflys.

Overall I thought it was really good and the last scene was a very fitting and cool ending.

No, not the vincent Price one. This one is from 2004 and is about a guy who comes to work in an old asylum.
