"I see you standing over the grave of another dead president"

One of Eastwood's better roles since the 70s too. I've always liked the scene where he's waiting for the chick (forget her name?) to look back at him :)

I just watched Sin City again.... enjoyed it better than the last time because I got the impact of the first viewing.

Cars : not as bad as i thought it would be - saved by very good voice work. still a morality tale though. tired of message movies for kids.

MI3 : watched the 1st half so far ... not too bad .. would be instantly forgotten if not for Hoffmans effective bad guy.

I'll find out how the rest goes tonight.

Are you insisting that that Unforgiven wasn't?

Chick's name is Rene Russo.

Ahhh thats the one! She was great in Lethal Weapon 3 aswell.
Not at all. Unforgiven was a totally killer role as was Billion Dollar Baby. I was just saying it was up there with his better roles instead of a lot of the 80s stuff where he seemed to do the typecast tough guy thing and was going thru the motions.
I prefer the tough guy with heart roles where he spews passion and the acting is really natural. But whatever... he is one of the few actors that I can enjoy in anything. I personally would like see a good comedy thrown his way.

I've been watching Full Metal Alchemist for the last couple of days. I'm really enjoying it so far, but that comes to a stop until I can afford to order the other 5 million volumes of it.

Gonna check out Wolf's Rain in the meantime

I just got the thought because In The Line of Fire came after Unforgiven, but since that was the film being talked about, you made the comment using said film. I ramble without or over thinking sometimes.

I agree with the comedy idea, I always thought he'd be perfect for the old veteran/hot shot rookie cop movie. He tried with The Rookie, it was fun, but the script was a little off for lack of a better word.

Hello there fellow Horror Fanatics. It's ages since i was on here- my computer blew up, then my TV blew up so basically I have been skint paying for repairs (TV first of course!!) and so have quite a backlog of films to discuss. I have a kept the pile of films by my desk - it's now huge lol...so I best get discussing. Good to be back anyway guys.

Below

I have to say I really enjoyed this little spookfest. I found it to be a novel addition to my 'ghost movie' collection. Some really creepy parts, solid acting and overall dark feel to the movie makes this the perfect kind of ghost story. A ghost and a submarine - great combo!

7/10

Undead

Now, this is one of the first films I watched since I was last on so my memory is vague lol which should say alot about the film really. I thought it was a poor man's Shaun of the Dead really - it was ok, some good gore, a couple of funny bits - overall decent for it's budget and the disc itself is packed with extras. However, once you have seen Shaun then this doesnt really compare. I must also point out that I found the beginning of the film to be stronger then the 'second half' of the movie...

6/10

More films to follow tomorrow lol.
